This place was awesome! It was my first time visiting for dinner, & they service was phenomenal! We asked for a quieter spot as our party was nerodivergent & they were quick to find us a perfect spot where we could still enjoy the entertainment but also feel more comfortable! I could not recommend this place more! & it was so fun!!View more

Pour ma première fois à l'auberge du Dragon Rouge, ce fut une expérience inoubliable tant sur le plan de la nourriture, de l'animation & de la bienveillance de l'aubergiste Alistair. Ce dernier a été de très bon conseil quand c'est arrivé le temps de commander les plats & s'est assuré que tout était parfait pendant l'ensemble de notre soirée! Rien a redire de la nourriture, surtout de la tourte de gibier qui était plus que délicieux. Mes deux amis & ma copine ont également adorer leurs plats ! Ma première visite m'a totalement conquis. Ambiance contagieuse, musique entrainante, bouffe exquise, tout y était. Mentions très spéciales à Darius qui nous a offert un service incroyablement incroyable tout au long de la soirée ainsi qu'à Feng (je sais pas si ca s'écrit comme ca) le barde qui nous a grandement divertit avec ses chansons. En bref, une soirée mémorable & c'est sur que j'y retourne dans un futur proche!View more

Wow ! Que du bonheur avec notre serveur OÇTAAAAAVE & notre troubadour Fffff... Beaucoup de restaurant qui mise sur leur ambiance en oublie la qualité culinaire des repas, celui-ci ne tombe pas dans ce piège. Notre poutine était délicieuse, le gigot succulent, & le canard exquis. Si vous cherchez à passer une bonne soirée, venez à l'auberge du dragon rouge !View more

Mind blown!!! It literally feels like you have stepped into a tavern from a medievalfantasy movie or game. The decor, costumed staff, service, music & atmosphere really set the stage. Most of the singing is in French (to be expected) but it in no way takes away from the experience. Alistair & the rest of the team go out of their way to make English speakers feel comfortable & to be honest it almost made things feel more authentic. Then comes the food. Too much to eat but unlike anything I have ever tasted, hands down the best I have ever eaten, the game pie is unreal, duck confit, boar sausage, chicken wings, ribs & it goes on, nothing disappointed. It is definitely on the pricey side but more than worth every penny as this is as much a show as it is a meal!!! Make sure you don't miss out on the Dragon's Blood at the end of service.View more

This is a themed, medieval tavern where you can drink mead, eat boar, & be entertained by troubadours. It's very dark & hot inside & there's a lot of yelling, singing, toasting, & banging on tables. If that all sounds like a good time to you, then it's a lot of fun! I've been here twice, once during a weekday & once during the weekend, both for dinner. The weekend is way more fun because there are more people & more entertainment. There's no air conditioning so it's boiling hot in the summer (& nice & toasty in the winter). The troubadours are really engaging, especially if you're there for a special event. Prepare to interact with the performers, & maybe even sing & dance (the songs are mostly in French). We took our 3 year old there so it is kid friendly, though it is very loud & there's a dragon head on the wall so a small child might be a bit scared. They do have a kid's menu (picture attached), on the backside it has a picture to colour & they give crayons, but it's only in French. The drinks menu is also only in French. I've had the boar shank confit & sausage & it was good but a bit dry & not really worth the price ($50-60 for a plate with one shank, one sausage, & chips/fries - see picture). I also had the pork ribs & they were really good, but be aware that they're quite sweet. The cider sangria is great. Try the dragon's blood if you get the chance, it's intense but loads of fun. Overall I'd recommend this but be aware it's pricey & the food is not exceptional. You're paying for the experience & entertainment though!View more

This was the best culinary experience I have been in a long time!!! Innkeeper Darius was our innkeeper all throughout the night. This guys should win an awards for being in his character all night. He's certainly love what is he doing. Professional but really friendly & know how to make us feel like at home. Yell DARIUS!!! & he will be at your table in no time. Food The feast was excellent! We ordered le Festin gargantuesque for 2 peoples which include this : - Boar sausage - Duck confit leg - Chicken leg - Ribs - Meat pie - Coleslaw & fries - Mayo & red wine sauce - 3 kind of potatoes We had the chance to add to our feast a Boar shanks for 40$ extra & it was well worth it. Everything was excellent! The best of all for me what the duck confit & the ribs & for my husband it was the boar sausage & the meat pie. Basically, everything was wow! Drinks Great options for every type of drinker Non alcoholic drink to hard liquor & for sure beer! Don't forget to try the Blood of the dragon shot! Inn (Auberge) For some of you, it will remind you an Inn from world of warcraft. Decorations are on point, it really take you back in the time!! Inside wall made from wood & rocks, weapon on the wooden beams, candles on tables, wood tables, shields & armor hanging from the wall..... Also, you can enjoy the nice patio outside with fairy lights. Ambiance This is the place where you can have a blast! If you are thinking of a quiet romantic diner, this is not the place to go... Well not in the inn itself. You will have live musician, singer, some role playing speech & even more. Get ready to sing & clap your hands! Basically, you wont regret it! Have fun to look at the pictures as well! The picture of the guy holding his beer was our innkeeper Darius!!!!View more
