Could not have asked for a better wedding venue. The coordinators & staff were kind & professional from our first tour of the location to when we were closing out the reception. We were able to have a menu that was everything we ever wanted. The food was so good that we had multiple guests ask if they could take some home.

Multiple times throughout the night, the staff brought food specifically for my wife & I to make sure we were eating. They were making sure to take care of us while we were occupied on taking care of our guests.

Unfortunately, it did rain on our wedding day so we could not have the ceremony outside. Luckily our venue coordinators, Alexandra & Alice, along with our personal coordinator Steph, came together to set up the most amazing indoor ceremony that we will remember forever.

We can say in full confidence that this is THE place to get married.

Love the onion soup, good steak & good duck. Service was on point & the atmosphere is just lovely. Update: Quaint reception hall, & beautiful space for an outdoor ceremony.

We had our wedding at L' Ambroisie in May 2024. It was a dream. The location is ideal ( ceremony, cocktail hour, reception), offers overnight parking if needed. Staff is accommodating to special requests & really go out of their way to make it happen. Special Shout Out to Dietrich ( the most patient, accommodating & fun coordinator to work with), Amber ( the reception capitain) & Jonathan ( probably the best bartender in MTL) who made our day amazing. Price is well worth it & very reasonable & they offer many options. Amazing open bar, great DJ. They recommend vendors that are good to use because they know the venue inside & out. The food is SO good & there are many options to chose from. Great places to take photos as well. Overall, beautiful venue, great staff, amazing wedding !!

J'ai photographié une réception de mariage du côté de L'Ambroisie en mai 2022. Mes mariés ont également fait leur cérémonie sur place, dans les jardins. C'est un lieu facile d'accès avec un très grand stationnement, ce qui est bien pratique (& rare) à Montréal. Le décor sur place & aux alentours laisse plein de possibilités pour les photos, peu importe le moment de la journée/soirée: on aime ça! Le repas était excellent. Ça a été une très belle expérience! Au plaisir de revenir chez vous! :)

Si vous réservez à ce restaurant, insistez pour prendre le nom de la personne qui prend votre réservation!!
J'ai effectué une réservation par téléphone le 27 avril dernier pour un groupe de 6 personnes pour le 28 mai, la jeune femme m'a même confirmé qu'il y avait un stationnement à l'arrière (j'ai la preuve du message envoyé à mon groupe prouvant la réservation). Nous nous présentons ce 28 mai & à notre grande surprise il y a une réception pour un mariage, le restaurant n'est donc pas disponible au public. Je discute avec un employé dans le stationnement qui s'avère être le propriétaire. Il nous dit que c'est absolument impossible que j'ai fait une réservation, que les samedis sont réservés tout l'été pour des événements. Aucune empathie de sa part, aucune tentative pour exprimer qu'il est désolé, que c'est possible que son employé ait fait une erreur, arrogant en plus se retournant vers les deux personnes avec qui il était en leur disant Incroyable!. JAMAIS nous ne retournerons à votre restaurant cher monsieur!!! D'autres restaurants à Montréal se sont fait un grand plaisir de nous accueillir avec chaleur & respect, ce qui n'est pas votre cas!

If you're looking for the perfect wedding venue I highly suggest L'Ambroisie restaurant. They are very accommodating, staff is super friendly, our guests loved the food. The event coordinator, Alexandra is quick to reply & will answer every & all questions you have throughout your time planning. She is amazing & was so helpful in this process. I never had to stress with anything about the venue & that's all because of how confident I felt with Alexandra.

You have 3 options where you can do your ceremony. Inside the restaurant, outside in the terrace, or outside in their beautiful garden.

Again, if you're looking for an amazing place to hold your ceremony & reception then Restaurant L'Ambroisie is the place to do it!!
