Amazing experience! The service was excellent friendly, attentive, & welcoming from start to finish. The food was fresh, delicious, & surprisingly light; it left me feeling satisfied without feeling bloated. The restaurant was spotless, & the overall atmosphere was clean & comfortable. Great food, great service, & an all-around awesome experience. I'll definitely be coming back!
Absolutely amazing experience..
I tried the channa samosa & the papri chaat, & both were outstanding. The channa samosa was perfectly crispy & flavorful, while the papri chaat had the perfect balance of sweetness, tanginess, & spice. Everything tasted fresh & authentic. The quality of the food & the flavors exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Indian street food, & I'll certainly be coming back for more😊

Fresh & delicious. Restaurant is clean, food was very good but I think they toned it down because they didn't think we'd like it spicy :) Lots of tasty dishes to try & to share. Sunday staff were friendly & very helpful! Thank you! We will definitely go again.

I had the pleasure of stopping by the other day & the server/cashier (Sammy, I think) was so kind & knowledgeable & took her time to answer my many questions.
I highly recommend this restaurant & will be returning many more times, I'm sure.
We went to buy 1 lb of the Indian sweet jalebi & they said it was hot. When we received it. It was cold. Then we had to go back & ask them again. Then I waited up to 10 minutes. They didn't give us anything fresh? They only heated it up in the microwave which resulted in an even worse flavor & sweet. I do not recommend going here
Really nice pure vegetarian place with authentic flavors & a cozy ambiance. The food isn't overly spicy, which I really appreciated.
Tried chaat papdi, vada pav, pav bhaji, veg cheese cutlet, & Bombay sandwich-all were tasty & well-balanced. The juices were a highlight, especially for that nostalgic, fresh taste. Mojito & lemon soda were refreshing too.
Moong dal halwa was delicious, & the'shaadi wali coffee' was a nice touch to end the meal.
Prices are genuine & worth it for the quality.
Overall, a great spot for simple, authentic vegetarian food. Would definitely visit again!
Lala Masala is truly one of the best hidden gems I've discovered in Montreal. From the moment you walk in, you can immediately notice how clean, welcoming, & well-maintained the restaurant is. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, & the staff make you feel at home right away.
The food is absolutely amazing, especially for anyone who loves flavorful vegetarian cuisine. Every dish is fresh, authentic, & packed with incredible flavors. One thing I really appreciated is how friendly & passionate the staff are - they are more than happy to let you taste different items before ordering, which makes choosing so much easier & creates such a personalized experience.
The Thali is especially impressive: incredibly generous, full of vibrant colors, variety, & flavor. The portions are huge, & the presentation alone makes you excited to dig in. On top of that, the prices are extremely fair for the quality & quantity you receive.
It's rare to find a place that offers amazing food, outstanding service, generous portions, & such a genuine atmosphere all at once. I highly recommend everyone come support this local business. Lala Masala is a true gem that deserves to be discovered & appreciated!
I had a fantastic chat papdi! The atmosphere was warm & inviting, the service was in credible .My choice of papdi chat & Masala Tea.. dish was bursting with fresh flavors. A special mention to the staff, Sami, Ahmad, Mohamed & others who went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I will absolutely be returning soon!
