Lakshana's Chettinad restaurant is a good Indian cuisine restaurant. Tasty & good food. Came here for takeaway for our dinner & it was worth it. Ordered food over the phone & the parcel was ready by the time I reached. Courteous staff who guided me to reach the restaurant as I had issues finding it. Table service & takeaway is available. Paalak Panner was good but wasn't spicy. Boneless chicken biriyani was well cooked, tasty & a good quantity. Had a good dinner from this restaurant.View more

The only Indian restaurant in the immediate neighborhood. Their medhu vadas are absolutely delicious - crispy on the outside & soft & fluffy on the inside, go very well with the saambaar & coconut chutney. The kothu parottas & dosas are also pretty good. The staff are also very friendly!View more

Nice Indian restaurant at Côte-des-Neiges. The food tastes good but not amazing & has a good prize. They have a couple of interesting dishes like Dosa. The service is friendly, just a bit slow, & sometimes there was no waiter around in the restaurant for a couple of minutes.View more

Over fired food to the point it becomes unpalatable. Pakoras & samosas seem old, thawed from frozen & not tasty. Been here twice, twice had tummy problems. The thalis consist of mostly fried food. Stews not good, there is no taste. Feels like a fast food restaurant, not authentic Indian, not tasty.View more

I've made a point recently to explore Montréal's Indian eateries. I've been to a dozen across the course of the year, & I'm happy to report that Lakshana's Chettinad here at Côte-des-Neiges is my favourite of them all. While I don't profess to have a deep knowledge of Indian cuisine, I do know there's something special about the menu & kitchen here that I haven't found at other restaurants. Not only is the food truly delicious, but it's consistent - today was my third visit & it's just as good every time. I'll be back again!View more
