This place completely exceeded my expectations. The staff were kind, patient, & made us feel genuinely welcome. It's the perfect spot to bring the whole family, especially because the prices are very reasonable for the quality & amount of food you receive.
Everything tasted fresh & full of flavour. The meat & cheese lahmajoune was crispy, savoury, & absolutely delicious. The cheese sticks were easily some of the best I've ever had, & the meat kibbeh was perfectly seasoned & incredibly satisfying.
Their hummus is also something special. It has such a smooth texture & unique taste compared to regular hummus you'll want to add it to everything!
The real highlight for me, though, was the feta & spinach lahmajoune. I had never tried anything like it before, & it was honestly unforgettable. This is definitely a place I'll keep coming back to!
I totally understand why this place has been around as long as it has been because it's absolutely delicious. Every time I go, I am never not impressed! Not only is everything so fresh & delicious, the staff is also nice.
I highly recommend their in-house tzatziki made with labneh.

Good spot for a quick bite. The lahmajoun is fresh & well-made, though I found the flavor profile a bit simple & one-dimensional for my palate. The baklava & other sweets were very enjoyable. I also tried a few savory items, including the kibbeh & cheese roll both were fresh & satisfying, but similarly straightforward in flavor.
What really stood out was the service. The staff were incredibly helpful, taking the time to explain the different dishes & helping me choose what to order.
If you go before lunch time you can get items straight from the oven
Service is good, workers are very friendly. However, I think the hype is a bit much. the two times I came, it wasn't served fresh. It was reheated after being already cooked. Thats not to say it was bad, but it would taste much better done fresh. it's just alright. This is a stark difference to lahmajoun in Ottawa where it takes a bit longer but everything is put in the oven the moment you order it. But there isn't too much competition in Montreal so I understand.
Lahmajoune they make it fresh in front of you, you can't get better than that! The shop smells wonderful, the owner & his staff so friendly & smiles all around.

Just ordered a third time, & this time the lahmajoun was fresh & wondeful & that fruity taste was probably their olive oil. I also ordered kebbeh & labneh & it was excellent. The only thing was that the lahmajoun were heated in the store, because the pita was crispy on the outside. This did not affect the taste, but lahmajoun villeray has a wonderful texture, the pita is soft & is a pleasure to eat. So, I did not get the texture but the taste was very good.
Just ordered again, & it was the worst lahmajoun, because it was not fresh. Lesson: don't order saturday at 5pm. Will restore my 5-star rating (hopefully) on the next order.
I just ordered lahmajoun & humus. This is a combo I have been eating for 40 years. Today, it is the best I have ever had. The hummus entree has a good dose of olive oil & the lahmajoun has a slightly fruity taste that goes superbly well with it
