Lahmajoune Villeray shines as a warm, family run spot offering fresh, authentic Middle Eastern flavors with a standout lahmajoune, along with a variety of breads, pastries, dips and kebbeh made with care. The service is friendly and welcoming, the ingredients feel homemade, and portions are hearty at very reasonable prices, making it a reliable go to for takeout or a quick bite. Reviewers repeatedly call it a hidden gem in Villeray, praise the spinach lahmajoune and other specialties, and note the freshness, aroma and generous variety across the menu. A few comments mention no seating or busy times, but overall the place is celebrated for quality, accessibility and warm hospitality.
Exceptionnel. Les meilleurs lahmajoune de Montréal. Ils sont frais & disponible en continu. Les autres produits sont bons également. Vous cherchez de quoi faire l'apéro ou passez un bon moment avec des plats orientaux c'est la place. Bref je recommande fortement
Cozy & warm! The guy in the front was extremely polite & down to earth. We were a bit late so lahmajoun was sold out but he suggested other options & they were so delicious. The cheese stick are a must try
Edit: the photos are from my second visit , pure deliciousness

Amazing & authentic Armenian bakery that reminds me of the Armenian district of Bourj Hammoud back in my home of Beirut, Lebanon. The service was great & the owners are very hospitable, high recommend

I came across this gem of a place & became a big fan instantly! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with a big smile & a friendly attitude. The food was super fresh & tasty with a great range of tasty products, from the famous Lahmajoune & baked goodies to the crispy cheesrolls & Kibbe, to the amazing dips. If you're looking for a high-quality homemade food, this place is a must visit.
The Good:
- Fair prices
- Decent pastry options
- Their minced meat flatbread (lahmajoune/lahm bajeen) is one of the best I had recently
Things to Improve:
- I would prefer if their pastries/flatbread were made to order instead of just warming them for you
- The meat in the sfiha is barely tastable & the filling is too much. It would be better if they were smaller, less tomatoey, & if they put some pine nuts on top
- I hope they will add a seating area or creat a little bistro
This place is by far the best place in montreal for Lahmajoune. I used to go there as a young child & love knowing that this business was passed on from one family to another & that now the people running it have kept it running for so many years. Beyond that they have updated the offer now serve a few dishes & each of them so well made.
Simply don't treat this place like a walmart. This is homemade, artisanal & made with love. ♥?
