Chocolate product looked like it had melted & solidified a few too many times. I get the charm of the place & would consider going again for charcuterie & cheese, but this is not great
The difference between hired help & entrepreneur led. The owner Paul is amazing. Hands on. The type of place that used to be normal in the 50's & 60's. I wish more places remained old school. Customers & employees love him. Thank you Paul for staying true to your merchant class. Wishing you continued success.
Forgot to add, they have huge variety of coffee, probably 60 types beans from all over the world.
Old school market grocery. Fabulous food from around the world & met the owner who was not only handsome but very hospitable. To capture the local flavor, this is a must stop on your way to the famous Schwartz's!
I love this place, as a special individual, I find so much joy in seeing the tons of jarred fish, tin fish, fermented fish, fresh fish, frozen fish & dried fish a store may offer. The sweets, bulks of coffee beans & fresh italian sandwiches are also incredible, I guess...
A very Nice European Deli with a wide Range of Hard to Find delicacies! Like St. Agur Blue Cheese( BEST PRICE IN TOWN!) & fantastic Codiments!! Also has Wonderful BBQ SAUCES! LIKE MIKES MUSTARD TRUFFLE(FANTASTIC!) HERE I WAS ABLE TO FIND A COUPLE LOW# BOTTLES OUT OF A 800 LIMITED PRODUCTION RUN #23 & #52! THESE ARE ALMOST! IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND & TODAY I WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO ACTUALLY FIND A #790!!( from somewhere else).THE EARLY ONES ARE VERY DIFFERENT(lighter)FROM THE MID RUN & END RUN?? DON'T KNOW YET! Got Some White TRUFFLE infused Olive Oil Today. June 2025

You can smell the coffee once you step into the place.
Great friendly service. I got there late in the day & saw their takeout food was almost sold out. I bought a drink & a snack.

Great selection of international cheeses at this shop in addition to deli, extras, fresh coffee beans & imported snacks that are actually interesting. The chocolate shelf by the cash with all the novel variety is especially nice.
The specials on cheeses are good, could be better but not bad. All in all, the place is inviting & I've enjoyed visiting for several years. They're consistent, & a nice place to grab almost all I need for picnic/charcuterie at the park.
