Un bon restaurant mexicain à Montréal, le Guacamole est parfait(mais trop cher!!) & la torta de Birria est bien juteuse & goûtu comme au Mexique. C'est un peu cher mais on ressort le ventre plein donc je suis satisfait. Les serveuses sont très gentilles également. Je reviendrai.

There are a few La Toxica locations around Montreal, & people sometimes mix them up when posting photos & reviews. I've been to a couple of them, & this location is definitely one of my favorites, along with the Jean-Talon location.

You know the food is good when everyone at the table goes quiet because they're too busy eating. This was actually my first time ordering La Toxica on Uber Eats since I live pretty far away, & even with a 75-minute wait, it was 100% worth it.

The carnitas tacos are probably the best tacos I've had so far. I haven't found another place that does them quite like this. The al pastor is incredible too flavor-wise, it's hard to find anything that compares. I've tried a lot of taco spots around Montreal, & this is one of the closest experiences I've had to authentic Mexican tacos.

I enjoy Three Amigos, but it's a completely different style of food. La Toxica feels like the kind of place where someone's mom or grandma is in the kitchen making recipes that have been passed down for generations.

The Birria & the consommé is always packed with flavor. If you're not sipping the consommé after dipping your tacos, you're missing out.

Came here during our first night in Montréal & we loved it!!

The service was amazing, we got sat down immediately & our server took great care of us throughout the meal. She checked in with us, helped us out with our orders & was a great server in general.

Food wise, it was absolutely fantastic! Below, we got the birria tacos (2) & chorizo tacos (2) alongside a pina colada & a refreshing mango frozen margarita. The birrias were cheesy & fresh, & the sauces provided at the side of the table gave the chorizo a kick!

We will definitely come back again when we're in town!

Excellent service super rapide & efficace. Les tacos Birria & tacos de crevettes étaient frais & délicieux. Les portions sont généreuses & les prix sont très raisonnables. Coup de coeur pour le margarita au tamarin. Nous y retournerons c'est certain.

Bon petit resto mexicain pour lequel notre intérêt fut capté grâces à un article dans La presse. Ce qui nous avait véritablement charmé était la petite histoire de sa propriétaire; Rosa Castellanos, qui par amour pour la cuisine traditionnelle de ses origines a gagné en popularité (version simplifiée!) On voulait goûter à sa cuisine!

L'expérience en sommes nous a plu; l'accueil est sympathique, la bouffe est bien bonne & les aliments très frais. On a essayé le guacamole, les tacos birria & le ceviche (qui était formidablement savoureux!!!!).
Le resto, comme tel, offre un aménagement d'inspiration mexicaine tournant autour du bar qui est positionné face à l'entrée. Il y a une belle grande murale sur le long mur opposé & beaucoup de couleurs vives dont de jolies guirlandes qui animent le plafond de ce secteur. On vous recommande d'ailleurs de choisir une place dans la première moitié du restaurant puisque c'est l'espace avec un aménagement le plus coquet, le plus soigné (lors de notre visite du moins).

Margs are fire. Staff is friendly & tacos are out of this world. Highly recommend the Birria, mouth watering!
