I had a wonderful evening at Restaurant La Toile recently. The atmosphere is very cozy & perfect for a quiet dinner conversation. The service was attentive without being intrusive & the food was prepared with fresh ingredients. I will definitely be bringing my family here next time we are in the neighborhood.

The dishes at Restaurant La Toile were so delicious. I enjoyed the salads, including the watermelon one even though I don't like watermelon.

The ingredients used for the salads & pizza were complex & well-balanced & the yam appetizer (not pictured) was bursting with texture & flavor.

The service was also great! The restaurant staff were so attentive. The ambiance is romantic but also whimsical & fun!
This was one of my favorite meals in Montreal.

Just moved to Montreal & tried La Toile. I rarely review restaurants online but this one deserves all the praise with the delicious offerings & quality ingredients. We tried 2 pizzas (Margherita & Pomodoro) & lemonade to cool down from the summer heat. Service was amazing as well.

As good as ever. Chef Francisco & Carmella serve the best ingredients & are so kind! Simply the best pizza, best service & outrageously good endive salads. Did I mention reasonable prices?

Un petit restaurant italien plein de charme, tenu par une famille passionnée. Les plats sont préparés avec des ingrédients frais & savoureux. Le service est chaleureux & attentionné, on s'y sent tout de suite bien. Une belle découverte à partager.

I am IN LOVE with this place!
The pizzas are always delicious with that perfect balance of fluffy yet slightly crunchy dough with ingredients that are always so tasty.
The staff is the sweetest. They are always all smiles & apologetic even if you've only been waiting there for a few minutes which tells me that maybe people are impatient because the space is a bit smaller but if you're going when it's not busy that's a great thing as it feels super cozy almost like a local cafe but with pizza & the staff are super attentive & make you feel like you're amongst friends. & if you catch them when they are busy they are just a quick stroll from the canal so one of the best Pizzas of the city eaten by the canal? What more can you ask for.
Will absolutely be going there every time we crave a pizza of just want to see some smiling kind faces!

Quel superbe restaurant. Très très bon!! J'ai passé une superbe soirée avec mes amies que je n'avais pas vu depuis des années. Le service était fabuleux, absolument excellent!! Merci beaucoup,! Merci au Chef qui a même changé quelques ingrédients pour moi! 10/10

The place is so beautiful, the atmosphere is warm & cozy, staff are superb & amazing. & now the food: such an exquisite experience, from the freshness of the ingredients, the flavors & texture, the smell, & presentation… all so delicious. Thank you for making my day & will definitely be back trying more of your unique dishes.
