My experience when I went for lunch recently was awful - I will NEVER
go back! This lunch was a birthday treat, & I chose this restaurant because I enjoy the fish special on Friday. We arrived at 1:05, at 1:30 after numerous requests enquiring who was our server - the waitress took our order - omitting to mention the soup included in the special.
I requested the soup, along with the fish special. I received my soup at 1:45, after offering to pick it myself from the kitchen. At 1:55, we left - without any lunch. My friend generously paid the $3.75 for my bowl of soup. Not once did the waitress come to our table to inform us that the order had been placed, & apologize for the wait. Only when we left, did she deign to inform us that she had placed the order.
Will I be going back? No, I enjoy eating at restaurants where I receive service & respect. As a senior, I am neither invisible nor was I rude, but I expected better service & to enjoy my meal.
What happened!
They used to serve the best nachos in town for years! We were there last night, & they changed the nacho chip to something cheaper & thinner. They were so flimsy & tasteless. I hope it was just a mistake in the order & that they haven't cut costs.
Let's hope they switch back, we are a big work group & don't really like unexpected change. I won't give up on the place yet!
Hope you go back to the nice tasty tortilla type nacho chip you have been serving us for the last 15 years.

The service is really bad , they are really slow & they don't give you water like they should.When they bring the food it has no taste & it's cold...
I have been there so many times for breakfast or lunch. Excellent food. Large size plates; great value for the low prices. Service is always great. Huge TV screens with sports games on all the time, not too noisy.
Great bartender Alex. But every time there is a UFC Ppv no one can get the channels or sound on time. Waited 1 hour plus for tv to work. Can someone learn how to use the tv system.
Très mauvais service. Nous avons attendu 30-35 minutes pour un pichet de bière. Nous avons demandé à la serveuse de nettoyer la table & nous a regardé avec un air : Penses-tu vraiment que je vais m'abaisser à nettoyer la table ( elle avait des frites, un verre d'eau & la table était collante de la personne qui était là précédemment.) Elle n'a évidement pas nettoyer. De plus, elle a complètement oublier une autre commande. Si vous voulez avoir un minimum de service, évitez ce restaurant.
My food was not really good at all though the service was very nice. The sangria tasted like water & liquor. we came in as a huge group & everyone else in the table had a huge amount of food left overs. definitely my first & last visit of the place.
This place has the worst service; the servers are rude & immature. I was seated at the very back of the establishment, the place was half-full & the waiter was, from the beginning, aloof, with an attitude of self-importance. We ordered drinks, French Onion Soup & Steaks. After ordering our drinks & food I saw our waiter walk to the very front of the restaurant. Ten minutes later I saw the bartender place our frozen drinks order on the bar & after 10 more minutes I could still see our sweating cocktails on the bar while at the same time I could see our waiter chatting with some young women patrons at the front of the establishment so I asked another waiter if I could get our drinks or if he could give them to me; he very abruptly said "no" & that I would have to wait for my waiter. I tried to get our waiter's attention but he simply moved to another table of young patrons, in the front of the restaurant, & started animatedly chatting like he was some sort of host. All this time, our drinks are getting warm on the bar, the other waiters are walking back & forth past our bare table, nobody asking us a question about how come we're sitting there for so long with nothing on our table & 25 minutes after our drinks were set on the bar there was no food, no drinks & no service at our table so we left & will never return.
Service tout a fais inacceptable, j'ai reçu mon plat principal 5 min avant mon entrée donc je n'avais plus assez de place pour mes deux assiette & le temps de manger mon entrée le plat principal étais froid, déjà que le poulet de mon club étais froid & que le pain étais détremper cela n'aidais en rien... une fille de mon groupe a une mouche morte dans son drink.. elle le rapporte a la barmaid... elle ce penche, le transvide dans un autre verre... remet des paille neuve & hop le renvoi a notre table...Nous l’avons bien sur refuser!!!! Elle en a fais un nouveau en rouspétant alors que la fille n'en voulais plus & lui a apportez... on appel le gérant pour ne pas le payer & le charge plein prix... j'ai jamais vu sa!!!! Ne manger pas la!!!!!
I came to watch a hockey game with friends the other day. I have to say that we were all very impressed by the quality of our plates. I had one of the best onion soups I have ever tasted & my spare ribs were exceptional!! For dessert, I tried the crème caramel...I'm not sure the one I had at my hotel was as good!
Très grand resto (super pour de grands groupes). Service ultra rapide, rien d'élaboré, junk food vraiment pas chere. Beaucoup de télévisions diffusant dès matchs de sport.
Avoid this at all costs. Honestly, it used to be better. Now you need to wait for 15 mins to have someone bring the menu, you get forgotten at your table, the food often comes with mistakes & you need to fight to get the waiter's attention. I used to return because the food was reasonable & reasonably priced, but the service is just awful. This morning I went with my husband & a couple to have breakfast there, they have a 5-month old baby, very quiet, in fact she slept for the whole time we were together. We were told they couldn't have us there because of the child! They told us to sit outside if we wanted - with a 5C weather. There was another couple with children sitting close to us & they had to leave too. We were appalled. I can understand if it's in the evening or if they're serving beer, but this was Sunday morning, only serving breakfast. I'm never coming back to this place. So keep this in mind if you decide to go there, no kids allowed.
Comme son nom l indique & sa raison première, cet endroit est effectivement propice aux sports & pour une bonne biere entre amis. bruyant, mais convivial !
le serveur ne nous a jamais proposé a boire alors que nous n avions même pas d eau & la nourriture n étais pas assez cuite, froide, grasse & écoeurante. Définitivement uniquement pour boire !
My favorite sports par in town.... can't complain the 5`7 is always the bomb, they cover all the event, they do charge extra on those nights but that is acceptable.
The food is cheap & very good, & its always lively at this location, better show up early or you won't get in !!
Always go back, it has been years.
& this location is getting huge, they bought & are renovating the whole block !!!!! It's going to be one massive bar soon !!
We were looking for somewhere to eat at 01:30, so it was nice to find somewhere open so late. Service was quick & staff were friendly enough. Food was ok, but nothing special, however the prices were extremely reasonable, so you get what you pay for I guess. Its a typical sorts bar....does what it says on the tin.
