You want a 25$ burger with fancy toppings? Go down the street. This place, however, will give you a burger. Meat. Bread. Standard toppings if you want them. & you can get like 4 for the same price as the fancy burger. This is a classic montreal "pataterie" like few are left. Cherish it. Order some "Nonionrings" go wild. They'll put bacon on anything you want. As long as you pay for it. I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Really scratches that itch.View more

While we've been staying in Montreal, we have gotten food from this place several times. First off, this place has a vintage cozy interior with booths that look out onto the busy street. Second, the staff here is friendly, quick, & very organized. Lastly, the food is authentic & well prepared. Our favorite thing here is an all dressed steamy & the classic poutine. Ordered a double bacon cheeseburger & poutine. The cheeseburger was good! Poutine was different... the sauce was watery, had a curry & cinnamon flavour to it- not your typical gravy. Visually it looked amazing, great ratio of cheese & fries! Would not order the poutine again the gravy wasn't my preference for poutine gravy.View more
