La Meunerie has tasty breads for the most part, although you must either refrigerate them or freeze them to delay the mold. I found that refrigeration has worked well. A few weeks ago, a customer next to me suggested the Smouchie cookie & at $2.20 + tax, it is an excellent price for a brownie/cookie shaped treat, so moist & delicious. But unfortunately, the Smouchie I bought last week was dry & hard & although there was no difficulty exchanging it, the replacement was very dry & hard at the outer edges & a little soft in the middle. Maybe the baker should lower the temperature or remove them sooner from the oven? Perhaps the universe is advising me to replace these cookies with a fresh fruit!View more
This bakery is amazing!! Everything is always delicious & the staff is all so friendly. I come here almost every week & look forward to it every time :) the autumn muffin, focaccia, & the toasted grain bread are all personal favourites, but you really can't go wrong with anything!View more

En particulier, ils font vraiment de la fabrication du pain un art à La Meunerie Urbaine, allant des baguettes & des pains au levain à quelques-uns des gâteaux au fromage. Personnellement, je commandais le "quotidien" & le "Azteque" chaque semaine. Chaque fois que je mangeais leur tranche de pain au levain, je me suis trouvé à en savourer chaque bouchée. Les viennoiseries étaient délicieuses aussi. Les croissants au beurre étaient très aérés & la croûte était croustillante & fine. Je vous recommande hautement!View more
I asked if they had more chocolate cranberry muffins in the back, they said they did, I ordered 5 along with croissants & cookies. After several minutes, I was told that there weren't any more. Meanwhile, my mother, who was behind me, & got served by someone else after me, got 4 chocolate cranberry muffins. Basically, the guy moved so slowly, & didn't secure what I ordered in time. Lucky for me, it was my mom & she let me have what I wanted from her order. They had also put her order in a box, but when I asked for one I was told the boxes were for cakes only. When I pointed out that they put my mother's in a box, he made her clerk take it out of a box & put it in a bag...I guess they would give the used box to another customer. Having spent 80$ on croissants & cookies, why would you be stingy about a box?! The products are good but the service is rotten.View more

Super bel endroit, parmi les meilleures chocolatiers dégustées, leur sandwich focaccia jambon tomate mayo est une tuerie. Bon le service un samedi matin faut s'armer de patience mais c'est la rançon de la gloire, on aurait apprécié un service un peu plus dynamique & avec plus d'entregent de la part de la personne qui nous a servi mais bon, c'était peut être juste un mauvais jour pour lui !View more
Service was awful today. Most bread sold out by 2 pm, no baguettes, as a result too many people hemming & hawing. They close at 5 & they run out of bread at 2? On a Saturday?View more
The high quality standard definitely feels like a thing of the past. After going back numerous times the quality of the bake is not as good, sometimes still raw. Was a diamond in NDG, hope it returns back to those standards soonView more

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I've been a fan of La Meunerie for 2 years, & their recent expansion only solidified my love for this place. Despite the growth, the line is still long-but don't worry, it moves quickly, thanks to their friendly & efficient staff. The atmosphere is warm, & the pastries are absolutely worth the wait. However, I didn't see much in terms of gluten-free options for those with allergies. If there are any, they weren't obvious to me, so it would be great if they were more clearly labeled or expanded upon. My only other gripe is that even if you preorder, you still have to wait in line, which seems unnecessary. Management, please consider changing this-preorders should have a dedicated pick-up line! Still, the quality of their baked goods keeps me coming back. Highly recommended!View more
