La Medusa, located just steps away from the Bell Centre, has been a renowned institution for over 20 years, serving pure and authentic Italian cuisine. Bonjour, tout d'abord, le restaurant n'avait pas notre réservation malgré le fait que nous avions la confirmation par courriel avec votre système.
Une fois notre repas terminé (18h15), nous avons voulu prendre un café & un dessert & ils nous ont refusé. Ils nous ont demandé cavalièrement de nous en aller car il y avait d'autres personnes qui attendaient.
Je n'irai plus jamais à ce restaurant.

Unforgettable cuisine & outstanding, attentive service. The menu is enormous which is often a red flag but you really can't go wrong here. The filet mignon risotto is to die for as is the lobster tagliatelle. I always recommend this place whenever someone is looking for Italian downtown.View more
via LibroI don't speak French but believe I have given you the highest ratings! We had a great time at La Medusa & will definitely keep this in mind for future trips. This was our first trip with the full family of four, last year our son & myself at there both nights that we were in town & had great meals.

Je suis allé pour une petite promenade, & du coup, je me suis trouvé devant les portes de La Medusa; l'ambiance m'a contraint d'entrer & c'était une des meilleures décisions de la soirée... This cozy two floor hallway of a restaurant gave you the feeling like you were at a distant relative's fancy cocktail dinner & it was invite only - listen, I can't say if I liked the soup or the pizza more, but I will say that I think it was the best pizza experience. I don't know how they managed to have a sweet, savoury, salty, umami, & spicy flavour (in that order) in one pizza, but they made it work. The chef even came out to ask me how it was tasting (going the extra mile)! I'm all about repping local eats that deserve a little more love for what they do, & La Medusa is a Montreal GEM!
