J'y suis allé le 10 août 2026 au soir, les frites étaient très bonnes, mais le problème est que mon amie a commandé un cheeseburger sans cornichons dû à une allergie, elle a reçu un cheese AVEC des cornichons, elle a donc demandé à changer mais la jeune femme en cuisine lui en a redonné un avec des cornichons... Elle a donc redemandé & cette même fille a soufflé les yeux en l'aire avec de l'attitude.... Elle a fini par ravoir enfin un cheeseburger sans cornichons. Ensuite pour ma part j'ai commandé un cheeseburger salade tomate bacon, j'ai reçu du pain avec un steak & du ketchup... Très déçue de l'attente pour le burger de mon amie j'ai préféré ne pas demander de l'échanger...
Honêtement, c'est la place pour manger un bon burger qui goûte le fait-maison & décidément la meilleure poutine au monde. Les patates sont trooops bonnes!! Sans parler dl'a sauce... Chaque fois que j'en ai l'occasion, j'apporte mes ami(e)s ou collègues découvrir cette cantine. L'ambiance en plus est très chaleureuse sans oublier le service client incroyable. C'est ce qui fait que je recommande cette endroit sans hésiter. Merci à toi Dave & ton équipe de feu de rendre notre expérience incroyable à chaque visite. Je donne définitivement un 10/5 hehe!! À bientôt comme toujours !
L'été ne serait pas pareil sans La Fringale. C'est un incontournable pour manger une bonne poutine ou un Burger. En plus, on peut terminer le repas avec une queue de castor ou une crème glacée... Que demander de mieux!!!

You are probably not coming here for the food alone. Not that its bad, its just similar to other places. You are probably coming here because its really cool.
Other than the typical poutines, hot dogs & burgers, they have ice creams, queue de castor & a very cool diverse seating area. They have seats inside, outside & even some rocking tables. A place for you to come with your family.
Staff was very friendly. There might be a bit of a line.
Première visite & je suis resté estomaqué.
Il faut absolument goûter au burger'Big Dave', un délice à s'en lécher les doigts.
Nous allons revenir à coup sûr.
26 octobre, 2e visites & c'est encore aussi bon. Nous sommes partis de Châteauguay en ce beau dimanche & je me suis encore gâté avec un'Big Dave'. Nous allons revenir cette hiver car'la Cantine La Fringale' est maintenant ouvert à l'année.
Endroit propre sur la coche comme dirait certain !

Excellente poutine, bon fromage, bonne sauce mais surtout de succulentes frites avec un enrobage doré & croustillant. Nous avons aussi pris un Burger Big Dave, sans avoir été déçu, nous aurions préféré un burger classique à celui-ci, mais les ingrédients étaient frais & la portion de viande est généreuse. Les milkshakes ( un aux fraises & l'autre au chocolat) étaient le parfait format, garnis de crème fouettée, qui finissait bien le repas avec un peu de sucre avant de reprendre la route sur nos motos.
OMG best Frites, best poutine, best Burger Big Dave dans toute la Montérégie.
Quel accueil incroyable à chaque fois par Dave le proprio & quel service de feu par toute l'équipe en cuisine.
La nourriture est plus que délicieuse, le service est rapide & courtois tout ça dans un décor original.

This Sunday afternoon around 1:00 PM, my wife & were returning home to Mont-St-Hilaire via the 116 in McMasterville & stopped at La Fringale for lunch. What a big mistake! I ordered the all-dressed hamburger, fries & some water & my wife ordered a club sandwich & fries. One positive aspect of our meal was that my wife's club sandwich contained a generous helping of chicken.
On the other hand, I could not identify by taste the meat patty in my hamburger. It had very little taste & was grey in appearance. It could have been beef or pork or a beef substitute, I couldn't tell. It was so tasteless that I asked my wife to try & identify it. She said it could be low-quality ground beef, but she wasn't sure. The bacon accompanying my burger & her club sandwich was very fatty & not appetizing as well.
The portion of fries was huge, but they tasted old or reheated & were not crisp when you used a fork.
Suffice it say, for the $ 45.00 or so we paid for this poor-quality lunch, we felt we had been ripped off. The next time you're in the area, be sure to avoid La Fringale, it is not worth the visit.
If you wish to have a good burger, fries, smoked meat or club sandwich, make sure to visit Le Pont Noir, at 488 Chemin des Patriotes Sud, in Mont-St-Hilaire. We both wish we had decided to go there for lunch instead.
