The food is phenomenal, & the decor & restaurant layout is great. It was my first time there, & I was unimpressed with the service, but it could just have been an off night. I will go back again & again though because of how great the food was! The guacamole & the fish tacos were the standouts of what we ordered!

My friends & I came to La Catrina for the first time the other night & had nothing but an amazing experience! The staff, food & atmosphere made our trip to Montreal exceptional.
Sympatique restaurant à la triste devanture mais plus cute à l'intérieur! 🌿 Service très sympatique & bonne cuisine sans être exceptionnel. Une addition totale un peu chère, comptez 100$ pour une entrée, deux petits plats & deux drinks.
Take out review. Had the Tinga bowl. Lack flavour & was a bit dry. Was kinda expecting better chicken than plain white chicken breast. They also somehow forgot to put avocado, green onion & had a tea spoon of sour cream. Giving 3 stars anyway.
It was super busy. We sat at thr bar had some drinks & tacos. The drinks were very good & the food as well. Maybe was too hungry for th3 3 tacos to fill me up. I ordered the pastor & we was delicious. They also had a DJ when I went. Cool vibes
i left hungry. Food was tasty & fresh but not filling at all. Be prepared to order 2 to 3 plates at 20$ a pop if you don't want to leave hungry. I've had appetizers at other places that were more filling then their main courses.
Decent Mexican restaurant. A little Americanized but good for downtown. The portion of tacos dorado is good but the normal tacos are very small for the price.

Great, cozy Mexican place with a fun atmosphere. Food was wonderful. Enjoyed the guacamole & the tacos, especially the beef & brisket. Would recommend for a nice, casual meal!
Service was very good but food is really not great. Had the Tacos Al Pastor which had nothing to do with Al Pastor. Pretty disappointing for a « Mexican » restaurant.

Bonne nourriture, bonnes portions & service correct. J'ai trouvé les prix des cocktails un peu élevés pour ce qu'ils étaient. Bonne expérience en générale!
Visited here on a whim after my friends & I were just wandering downtown looking for a place to eat. I really enjoyed it! Their deep fried tacos were a new discovery to me. Very crunchy & flavourful. I also got a large order of guacamole to share & it was good! Prices are also on the midrange side. Fast service, friendly, the restaurant is quite big & there's lots of seating but it isn't too loud so you can talk in your group .
Very cozy place The food was amazing & very flavorful! I recommend trying the fried tacos & the fish tacos. The service was also good, would definitely come back.
Food is so so, service is amateur. The waitress made us pay for what she admitted was her error (extra guacamole). We said we won't pay for her error, but she put it on the bill (19$) & gave us churos (8$) as an apology. Don't make a customer pay for your error. Back room is horrible, echo is unreal.
