Je viens tout juste de prendre à emporter à la Cantina une Quesadilla au Poulet annoncée à 16$ sur leur menu & ils m'ont arnaqué de 2$ de plus avant taxes (pour le principe c'est une honte) & le comble, il manque des ingrédients ! J'ai bien vu que ça les dérangeait quand je suis arrivée dans leur resto pour commander mais c'est ta job en fait donc si tu n'aimes pas ce que tu fais, faut changer ! Check la quesadilla comme ils se sont bien foutu de moi. Je n'irai plus jamais. C'est très cher pour ce que c'est !
Rather disappointed. We needed a quick stop before heading out of town. Ordered fish tacos, chicken quesadilla & a 330ml beer. Food positives: juicy chicken quesadilla. Food negatives: very small portions, bland tacos, minuscule fish (mostly batter). Value: prices are high for what it is (e.g. beer was $10). Ambiance: cute little place, but do not expect privacy. Service: slow, we were charged twice for one beer --- bill was voided & reissued after calling attention to the mistake, but not even an'I'm sorry.' Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

As regular guests at La Cantina, we always appreciate the friendly staff & relaxed ambiance. The food is consistently good although the quesadilla dish is a bit meager - a small quesadilla with no sides, so you must order salsa or beans, etc. It would be amazing is they would add fried veggie tacos to the menu. Our server, Gigi, was absolutely fantastic. This is a solid neighborhood restaurant.

I tried the mushrooms quesadillas. For the price I expected a bit more food. The plate seemed very empty & it just tested like grilled cheese with beans. I paid 21$ for this plate with tax & tip. I'd add at least some salad or tortilla chips. There are almost no sauce too.
Went for dinner, we had a nice time, the atmosphere was good, the sound levels were good so talking was easy, but the service was slow & underwhelming. I had to ask for plates, no extra napkins were given with messy food, when our drinks were empty there was no ask if we wanted more or something else, I had to catch her attention, the fish tacos & brisket were both okay but lacking depth.. that being said the margaritas, beef taco, ceviche, Huitlacoche quesadilla & Aztek soup were delicious & can't go wrong with churros, overall delicious food & nice atmosphere but service was lacking.

We visited this restaurant on May 2nd.The restaurant was nicely decorated & we enjoyed the cocktails. When it came time to order, we decided on a cheese quesadilla & a chicken one. When the server came to our table with our order, she gave me the wrong dish & my son. I thought I had the correct plate, so I took at bite & realized I was eating my sons meal instead of mine. She mixed up the orders. I had to order a second meal again for my son. Not to mentioned we initially got 2 pieces of the cheese quesadilla, along with a small tiny piece with the order. The server was not attentive at all. Poor customer service. When we received our check. I was reviewing our order. I believed I saw a tip added to the total bill. but she corrected me & said it was taxes. I proceeded to finalize my bill & gave her a 18% tip. When our server walked away, she slammed the portable charger that I used to process the credit card against the register & walked away frustrated. I will not be visiting this place again. She needs to learn better customer service & listen carefully when a guest is placing an order. We didn't have such a great experience. Not to mentioned I had to buy a second meal due to her mixed up & was charged for it also.
10-2024 : un peu décevant comme nourriture. Pris un quesadilla au poulet, très peu de poulet, fromage grillé limite brulé, crème sure & mayo comme accompagnement. Tacos dorés sont ordinaires. Prix un peu cher pour ces assiettes.
Cadillac margarita was excellent. Guacamole, brisket tacos & chicken quesadilla's were all very good. I would recommend this casual Mexican with limited menu.
Service : même pas assis qu'on nous demande si l'on souhaite avoir du guacamole & des chips, une fois le bol de chips vidée vous êtes resservi sans demande & vous finissez votre repas avec 20 $ ajouté à la note. Reste du service pressant, votre assiette à peine vide qu'on vous la prend, & dans le même temps on vous demande de régler. Nourriture : Rapport quantité prix désobligeant, vous vous rendrez vite compte que votre plat ressemble plus à une entrée qu'autre chose, 4 quesadillas poulet pour 16 $. Il faut noter que au delà du prix & de la méthode frauduleuse de ce restaurants, la nourriture n'y est pas mauvaise, juste insuffisante.

I went there on the weekend for lunch. We paid $24 in which we had an option of soup or salad, tacos (4 pieces) or quesadillas & churros (chocolate or caramel).
This was the smallest & the most soggy quesadilla I have ever had for a dinner. Food flavors are ok but the portions are very small & the prices are high. Will not return.
The food is quite good & they are definitely service-oriented. That said, they were rushing service so much, we also felt rushed to leave. Within 35 minutes, we had time to order, get 4 plates & pay. I think this experience could benefit lunch-time groups best, but not sure I would return as a couple. Food-wise, the quesadilla was really tasty & the guacamole too, but I was a bit disappointed by the duck confit taco & the soup. Overall l, it was a good experience at an affordable price. I would return with a large group knowing the service is fast, but would hesitate to return with a small party.
Had an early dinner reservation for 3 people. Visiting from Ontario & we love this place. Was nice to see our server, Valentina, again! Husband loves the private selection of tequila. Always fun to try a new one. The guacamole was freshhhhh! Duck confit tacos were excellent. My chicken quesadilla was fantastic. House made hot sauces were good. We tried the churros to share for dessert. Can't believe we have never tried them before. I recommend the Don Fashion cocktail. Place is small, but comfortable. We will be back!
