About us

Our family is proud to share our passion with you. From generation to generation, La Campagnola has never stopped growing and refining itself.

La Campagnola first started in 1981 as a small Deli in the area, then in 1995, became a more popular sandwich shop (Camps), to later transform itself into a Bring Your Own Wine restaurant in 1999 with recognized homemade specialties throughout Montreal. In 2009, we decided to start aging quality canadian beef to add to our menu.

Living in a changing world, the kitchen must follow this wave of change and renewal, so in 2018 we push our limits and standards to make you discover our new culinary experience of Italian Steakhouse, without forgetting our authentic tasty dishes.

Through all these years, our priority is to make our customers have a unique experience every time. Your satisfaction is very important to us.

Amazing food.... Service was good on what seemed to be a busy night. I base my reviews on food not service.. we should be so lucky that we are getting food to eat & I don't care if I have to wait 10 extra minutes... we will not die! But yes my pasta dishes were bang on

I have not been for a long time. I was a bit disappointed that you had a limited menu due to oyster tapas evening. But all the food was great. Chef was nice enough to make us a porterhouse steak. Delish. Will see you soon

Je trouve que le menu a beaucoup changé , étant habitué d'y aller avant la pandémie j'étais un peu déçu de ne plus retrouver les frites à l'huile de truffle , les tortellini sauce rosé champignon ... j'ai commandé un filet mignon qui malgré le prix de 59$ vient avec seulement des frites , sans légumes ni sauce ..seulement du ketchup .. nous étions 4 personnes & nous avons été satisfaits du repas mais sans plus .

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Campagnola, & I can sum up my experience in one word: "Wow!" 🌟 As soon as I sat down, they served me some piping hot bread with a spicy sauce that danced on my taste buds. It was like a flavor fiesta in my mouth! 🌶️ Next up, the salad - fresh, crisp, & oh-so-refreshing! 🥗 It was like a little garden on my plate, & I happily munched away. But the pièce de résistance was the lamb chop. Let me tell you, it was a love story on a plate. 💕 Tender, succulent, & perfectly cooked, it was like a symphony of flavors. I'm pretty sure I even heard angels singing when I took that first bite. & did I leave anything on the plate? Not a chance! That lamb chop didn't stand a chance; I devoured it with gusto. Petit imbroglio en début de service, la serveuse ne savait pas que nous étions avec elle donc on a eu un long moment d'attente avant de pouvoir commander. Elle s'est reprise par la suite.

The waiter was good, polite & did his job. Pleasant & courteous, & overall great. But the food was terrible. It was cold, didn't taste good at all, & not what we expected from the last 3 times we went went there. Your prices raised tremendously, which would have been fine if the food compensated for your prices. Instead all we got was a high bill with terrible food that made me & my wife sick last night.
Complete disappointment.
