About us

Our family is proud to share our passion with you. From generation to generation, La Campagnola has never stopped growing and refining itself.

La Campagnola first started in 1981 as a small Deli in the area, then in 1995, became a more popular sandwich shop (Camps), to later transform itself into a Bring Your Own Wine restaurant in 1999 with recognized homemade specialties throughout Montreal. In 2009, we decided to start aging quality canadian beef to add to our menu.

Living in a changing world, the kitchen must follow this wave of change and renewal, so in 2018 we push our limits and standards to make you discover our new culinary experience of Italian Steakhouse, without forgetting our authentic tasty dishes.

Through all these years, our priority is to make our customers have a unique experience every time. Your satisfaction is very important to us.

The food is excellent & the staff are fantastic. We have been coming here for years & we love it.

As a party of 7, we were put at a large square shaped table. It was hard for the grandparents to hear as we were spaced out & the place can be noisy as it is so popular. I would just suggest thinking of smaller tables for older people or hard of hearing.

The sea food tasted super fresh. The desserts were perfectly well done. Service was ok. The deco was cauzy. I highly recommend.

The best hidden gem in Montreal is in Lasalle! This restaurant is a combination family Italian & steakhouse. The owner greeted us at the door, showed us to our table, talked with us at our table & after we ordered came back & told us we ordered too much! When does that ever happen? We had a wonderful evening- all the staff are exceptional. Every staff always had a happy face.Parking around back or on the street. BYOB also! We sat down, we were immediately served fresh hot rolls. When you walk in you see the meat for sale at the counter. There is also excellent choice of homemade pastas. Their meat is the best quality & you taste it. The owner came by our table with a huge tray of five+ different seasonings if we needed to add to our meat. We did not. You could hear yourself talk. Restaurant has wood tables with black accents. Can't wait to return.

Service was slow. Servers should come around more often to check up on tables. It took us about 20mins to get our bill.

Always a winner! They always have a few interesting specials on the menu- usually an app, a pasta, & a variety of dry-aged steaks. Great place to go with a large group or an intimate dinner for two. desserts are always on point. I've been coming here for years & I've never been disappointed.

Juste une toute petite remarque
Une fois le repas principal servi personne est venu nous voir pour savoir si tout était bien. J'aurais demandé des condiments pour mes frites.
Finalement on s'est levé pour demander, tout a été fait immédiatement 😊

Campagnola is a true gem! With its amazing hospitality & delicious food, it is one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. I had my birthday dinner with them for a second year in a row because the steaks & the atmosphere are just amazing. Thank you again for taking care of me & my friends.

Un gros merci à celle qui a fait le service , elle était très attentive à nos demandes , service impeccable . Nous lui donnons une note de 15/10 .
Nous avons passé une excellente soirée , la nourriture excellente , les huitres rockfeller à tomber à terre .

Bouffe bonne mais chère pour ce que c'est. 80$ pour des pâtes & une pizza margharita. Pizza à déconseiller. La serveuse ne parle même pas français. Très décevant...

we saw just 3 spots for parking on the side of the building, enough space between tables. We felt that they took a long time to bring one of our meals & we had to ask again for the coffee after they brought the dessert. Nice & gentle service, good atmosphere but pricey.
