Our family is proud to share our passion with you. From generation to generation, La Campagnola has never stopped growing and refining itself.
La Campagnola first started in 1981 as a small Deli in the area, then in 1995, became a more popular sandwich shop (Camps), to later transform itself into a Bring Your Own Wine restaurant in 1999 with recognized homemade specialties throughout Montreal. In 2009, we decided to start aging quality canadian beef to add to our menu.
Living in a changing world, the kitchen must follow this wave of change and renewal, so in 2018 we push our limits and standards to make you discover our new culinary experience of Italian Steakhouse, without forgetting our authentic tasty dishes.
Through all these years, our priority is to make our customers have a unique experience every time. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
Thank you to all our dedicated food lovers for your continuous encouragement.
Dino, Joe and La Campagnola Team
La Campagnola also offers private rooms and a catering service.
Guests describe La Campagnola as a warm, inviting spot where attentive service and flavorful dishes come together for a memorable meal. The menu shines with well prepared steaks and Italian classics, with filet mignon and the cowboy style steaks praised for being cooked to perfection and richly flavorful, while pasta dishes and appetizers are noted for freshness and aroma. The BYOW option adds a relaxed, welcoming touch, and the staff are repeatedly described as friendly, professional, and helpful in guiding choices. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it suitable for family gatherings, friends nights out, and celebrations. Occasional notes mention parking can be challenging and a rare misstep such as an overcooked pasta or dessert, but these are outweighed by consistently excellent food and service. Repeated visits are common, with diners praising the quality of ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and attentive service from start to finish. La Campagnola stands out as a reliable choice offering great food, great service, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
Great steaks & lamp chops may be the best in town. The menu is not big, but the items are very fresh & tasty. The grilled octopus is a must-try. The service is good & the atmosphere is good & could a private room for events.

I'd like to say first & foremost, I have worked in the restaurant industry for years when I was younger. I'm Greek, & we love food. La Campagnola was a restaurant I first went to in 2017. The authentic Italian food prepared in such a craftsmanship manner floored me. A bring your own wine place that had the best Italian food I've ever had. My friend who found it organized groups of 6-8 of us at a time. We would get so many appetizers & our main meals & would split it all as a group. Very affordable & incredible wait staff no matter who was working. Some senior staff some new staff... Didn't matter everyone was amazing. Years later I came back. Nothing has changed except the decor. Nicely updated. The food was as good as I can remember, saw some familiar faces. I brought someone there for the first time & I got to relive the surprise & enjoyment on someone's face who first tastes the food here. I love this place.
Restaurant avec une belle ambiance feutrée. Une cuisine de très bonne qualité & un service impeccable. En plus on a la possibilité d'apportez notre vin.
Was honestly expecting much more...Meat was well marinaded but salty & overcooked for one table & undercooked for the other. The pasta either lacked seasoning or was bathing in water & garlic.''Grilled'' vegetables were just boiled. Not sure if it was their off day. We booked because of the great reviews but all my guests were disappointed with the food & service. Won't be coming back.

We had a wedding rehearsal dinner at La Campagnola recently. We were at least 16 people. The food was delicious. We had appetizers & the calamari was excellent. Our main meals were good too. The steak tartare was the best we have ever had. I would have given a 5 star review but were disappointed in the lack of greeting when we arrived. No warm welcome. The server was not very friendly & did not enhance our experience. When we left there was no acknowledgment to our group or thank you & we had spent a good amount of money at this restaurant.
It was always glad when you found a gem in town:) specially with good quality of steak & several choices of meat parts. First time here today, wonderful experience with Porterhouse 40oz 179$ comes with two sides. Meat is tender, cooked with medium rare. Overall taste is good, not quite like the sauce with steak. As well service is fantastic, welcome & waitress shows her care to us. Will be back try more:)
Incredible service, but the Menu offerings fell short. Per a colleagues recommendatiom, I accompanied some friends to celebrate a birthday at La Campagnola. Upon entry, I loved the atmosphere created by the mini-secluded dining areas which made the night feel more intimate & memorable. The food however, fell short of my expectations, I enjoyed the bread & butter offered as an appetizer, it was fresh & the in-house butter they had was an interesting deviation from the norm. I ordered the parmesan fries as a starter & they lacked a feeling of freshness/crispyness to them. I chose the Pepperoni Pizza as a main & it was above average but didnt really impress me much, it tasted close to what I have had at fast food restaurants, so I was a little dissapointed by this. Despite my gastronomic experience, the service provided by the staff was incredible; they were polite, patient & they made the night an enjoyable experience. I'm not sure if I would go there again, but if I did, it would be for the intimate dining experience(perfect for date nights) & to try a different menu item!

I have been there quite a few times & the food is really good & the server we usually have ahe is awesome but the prices are quite expensive & the menu does not change much I wish there was evening specials that change & that include a salad or entree & a coffee.
It's hard to tell it's a restaurant from the outside but once in the restaurant it's chic & lovely. Service was great & attentive. The octopus was so incredible I would order it again as a main meal.
