Our family is proud to share our passion with you. From generation to generation, La Campagnola has never stopped growing and refining itself.
La Campagnola first started in 1981 as a small Deli in the area, then in 1995, became a more popular sandwich shop (Camps), to later transform itself into a Bring Your Own Wine restaurant in 1999 with recognized homemade specialties throughout Montreal. In 2009, we decided to start aging quality canadian beef to add to our menu.
Living in a changing world, the kitchen must follow this wave of change and renewal, so in 2018 we push our limits and standards to make you discover our new culinary experience of Italian Steakhouse, without forgetting our authentic tasty dishes.
Through all these years, our priority is to make our customers have a unique experience every time. Your satisfaction is very important to us.
Thank you to all our dedicated food lovers for your continuous encouragement.
Dino, Joe and La Campagnola Team
La Campagnola also offers private rooms and a catering service.
Guests describe La Campagnola as a warm, inviting spot where attentive service and flavorful dishes come together for a memorable meal. The menu shines with well prepared steaks and Italian classics, with filet mignon and the cowboy style steaks praised for being cooked to perfection and richly flavorful, while pasta dishes and appetizers are noted for freshness and aroma. The BYOW option adds a relaxed, welcoming touch, and the staff are repeatedly described as friendly, professional, and helpful in guiding choices. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it suitable for family gatherings, friends nights out, and celebrations. Occasional notes mention parking can be challenging and a rare misstep such as an overcooked pasta or dessert, but these are outweighed by consistently excellent food and service. Repeated visits are common, with diners praising the quality of ingredients, thoughtful presentation, and attentive service from start to finish. La Campagnola stands out as a reliable choice offering great food, great service, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
Was our first time & really enjoyed our dinner. We took the waitress's recommendation & the steak was spectacular. The home made pasta was delicious. Bring your own wine was a bonus. Will highly recommend for special occasion. The staff was great & friendly
Bon resto, belle ambiance. Merci.
Food was good but not exceptional considering the price we paid for this setting & noise level
very over priced make sure you ask for the price of the cowboy steak before you order it. We had a heart attack when we found out it was $250 for the 50 oz bone in vs the 18 oz x2 without the bone
2 couples final bill with tip $700 with our own wine ouch
I was a customer for many many years we had so many birthday parties, & we would always go for a wonderful dinner with friends, because of the ambiance & personalized service, & we were always greeted as if we were part of a wonderful italien family. It was for me the best restaurant in LaSalle they would bring little extras entrees before ordering & would accommodate us if we wanted to change a side order, just so pleasant & friendly & food was always amazing. Was always full when we left Well i don t know what happened, After not going for a couple of years due to Covid I wanted to take my daughter for her birthday we were 4 of us. Let me tell you everything i describe at the beginning being a customer for years I can t tell you how disappointed & chocked i was after going to camps. It is certainly no longer the restaurant that i was use too , like before. Nothing was the same, I paid 50$ for 5 small bites sizes of filet mignon + a very small portion of fries that were nothing special. Not home made that s for sure I had ask if i could change the fries for pasta or something else since they had it written on the top of the page on menu she said no not possible with this choice , if that is what you want then buy it individually. I also explained that i could not eat garlic so the toping the were adding i ask to not have it because of the garlic. Server then came back to explain that there is just such a small amount that i won t taste it & ask me is it a preference not to have it or an allergy. I did not understand why she came back to tell me this. I ask no garlic. Was i going to take a change even with a tiny portion being allergic No i don t think so, Then she informed the other guest that there is a 3$ extra fee for the Cesar salad because the romaine lettuce is hard to find. Really do customers need to know this about what they can find or not to find for there menu ? IGA had 4 in a package for 2.97 this week. With every little issue, that occurred from beginning till the end i was asking myself were am I. The server saw how annoyed i was getting with out saying a word i think my face was enough to see how unhappy i was, that she sent other people to our table & let them finish with us. This is no longer the same restaurant as before, Staff is all changed with no friendly customer service meaning they don t engage like before its all about how much will they be selling at the table, very cold ambiance i certainly did not feel part of the italien family like before & i left very hungry with what i ordered as my main dish. A an expensive bill. Which was not worth it at all. & sorry i took my daughter there for her birthday They definitely lost a customer who loved this restaurant before & has been living in LaSalle for over 20 years
