Sichuan Green beans are very spicy, you've been warned! They put hot green peppers mixed in there. Reminded me of when I was living in Bangladesh, picking them out of my food . Also I think there is beef in that dish.
Endroit très sympathique avec beaucoup de place pour travailler ou faire des rencontres. La bouffe était super bonne & abordable . Gros bémol la propreté des lieux. L'ensemble du resto aurait besoin d'un bon coup de peinture & de chiffon. & les toilettes sont plus que du pour être rénovées. C'est dommage parce que ça nuit pas mal à la qualité de l'expérience. L'endroit était super mignon, mais là ça s'est vraiment détériorée.
A hidden gem in the plateau area! Chinese food is authentic & delicious. I haven't tried the western selections but would recommend sticking to the Chinese dishes the prices are super affordable! I'm a sucker for pumpkin spiced lattes & the one I had was the best one yet. They make their own pumpkin purée syrup which is mind blowing compared to Starbucks. It was not too sweet & still had a strong coffee taste. We ordered two dishes: Japanese tofu sautéed with soy sauce/oyster sauce & boiled fish in spicy sauce. It came with rice & salad. Both dishes super tasty & now I want to try more from the menu!

Got the tofu stirfry lunch special which looked really good but when I started eating, it was so salty I had to stop eating after two bites. I even made my friend take a bite to verify how unbelievably salty it was. I was really looking forward to this place being my affordable regular lunch spot but I didn't get a good first impression of the food sadly :(
La boite gourmande est un super café, calme, spacieux avec beaucoup de prises. C'est très agréable d'y travailler. J'ai juste pris un grilled cheese & des croquettes de poulet. Le premier était pas très travaillé & les secondes bonnes. Dans tous les cas, j'étais très satisfait car le prix est extrêmement bas, l'un des lieux les moins cher de Montréal !
Location is great, thats the only reason why they got a 2 stars. The cashier whom I believe is the owner is not particularly friendly. Everyone was offered to sit & wait for their drinks & or food but I got told to stand & wait. He prepares the smoothie. His coworker pours it in the cup & asked him (i assumed because she showed him the drink) what to do because it was not a full cup. He seemingly told her to hand it to me. The smoothie did not taste good & as you can see on the picture the cup was not full. I did not ask not to put ice & there is only 1 size for smoothies. Honestly at that point i was so annoyed that i wanted to go ask for my tip back!

Had the most disgusting tempeh burger here today. It was completely soaked in sauce so that the bun was soggy. The lettuce was brown on the edges. The photo they have on the menu shows a fried patty, but what I got was two little pieces of tempeh & two big pieces of regular soft tofu. The side salad was fine & a generous portion. The coffee was really bitter with pieces of milk skin in it. Overall not pretty gross as was the bathroom. But the service was friendly & relatively fast.
