Located in Verdun, la Bêtise is the result of four friends who were wondering how to enhance food and wine pleasures. The tapas lounge-bar formula was created to offer an extraordinary evening to enthusiasts of culinary experiences: explosive tapas for all pallets, inventive main dishes, elaborate and original wine and cocktail list. Microscopic «okay» dishes for a price of a full meal… sangria was very average. Had to wait to enter because a hostess was chatting on the phone. The food took ages to arrive

We got the seafood platter which was an amazing value for the amount of food & perfect serving size for 3 people with a side of fries. HOWEVER unlike the individual oyster servings, they were not on ice with the platter & so their internal temp rose pretty quickly which caused my whole group to feel quite ill shortly after dinner… if you get the platter request the oysters on ice until they permanently change it!View more

We got the seafood platter with extra oysters. The only issue is the oysters weren't on ice so a couple of us felt a bit sick afterwards so maybe ask for them on ice. Besides that, the rest of the platter was really good & so were the drinks.View more

Les plats étaient très bon & fait avec des ingrédients frais. Quelques fois la cuisson était moyenne mais en général tout était très bon quand même. Le gros point faible, le service, nous avons attendu un bon 20min en milieux de souper entre nos commandes. Cela à gâcher pour nous un peu la soirée. Tapas style restaurant. Everyone of them was meticulously thought of by the chef & full of flavors. Classic cocktails have a nice original twist. Service was terrible, we had a hard time getting our tapas in a reasonable amount of time. Do recommend. Should hire more servers.View more
