Located in Verdun, la Bêtise is the result of four friends who were wondering how to enhance food and wine pleasures. The tapas lounge-bar formula was created to offer an extraordinary evening to enthusiasts of culinary experiences: explosive tapas for all pallets, inventive main dishes, elaborate and original wine and cocktail list. Tasty food but as an entrée, the portion was too small. Service was a bit off (drinks came at different times & we had to wait several minutes for everyone's food to arrive). Cozy atmosphere & friendly staff.View more

Warm, friendly service. Churros were amazing, tuna tataki a bit overcooked, cauliflower a bit under. Overall medium food, decent drinks. Would return for post-dinner drinks & dessert, but probably not for a meal.View more

We really enjoyed the food, however the service needs refining. Everything came promptly, however we specified bringing oysters out first & the rest of the dishes later. That wasn't respected.
The waiter seemed as though serving us was a painful task. We even tried engaging him in conversation & he said he was introverted & would leave our table as soon as possible. He made efforts to avoid us. We wouldn't go back to this restaurant solely based on the poor service.
