Hokkaido, Geisha, & K-ba were delicious. Takoyaki & kara-age were disappointing. Takoyaki did not need panko & had the texture of arancini. Fried chicken was bland & not crispy. The wasabi sauce was a nice touch though.
I've been here many times but this is the first time i order takeout. The sushi tasted good, as usual, but the bag they used was some kind of thin recyclable bag that couldn't withstand the sharpness of the takeout boxes. After a while, the bag was torn apart as you can see in my pic
The place is small but the atmosphere was alright. The servie was excellent however the food was expensive for what it was. A definite downgrade from what it was years ago. The rolls were not rolled perfectly & the fish was pretty much average but is expensive.
Excellent sushi place Been meaning to go for a long time & it didn’t disappoint Will come again for sure….. 🤩 went back with my wife & it was even bette
I've only ever been served by amazing staff & the food is amazing. very fresh & great quality.
Montreal is a great food city & this place is the cream of the crop. The quality is ALWAYS incredible, fresh & delicious. There are many more expensive sushi places in Montreal but none that are as good.
The food was fresh & amazing, the service was pleasant, the waitress smiled & was nice. However, took long since there was only one person preparing the sushi. The price was reasonable. I would go again but not for lunch just because I don't want to be rushed. I would go for dinner definitely!
This sushi place run by a Japanese family is without compare in Montreal. It is by far one of the best restaurants in Montreal & continues to be a somewhat hidden gem in Ville Saint Laurent.
The food is fresh & delish, the staff is always super friendly & attentive. We eat here at least once every two weeks.
I've been coming to this sushi bar for years!! Finally decided to write a review once & or all. It is by far my favorite sushi restaurant & the quality is the closest I have encountered in Montreal to sushi I've had in Japan. The place small but nice & cozy. The waiter is incredibly polite & patient, the chef is passionate about his food. the fish is fresh & they DO NOT cheap out on ingredients. Presentation is simple but the tasty sushi is to die for.If I could, I would eat here everyday.
We go there about once every 2 weeks. Great quality sushi -packed full of high-quality ingredients assembled artistically. Plenty of taste from the fresh ingredients & seasoning, no need for any extra soya sauce. Compared to those all-you-can-eat sushi shops, it cost about the same to feel full at Kyoto, & the quality of the sushi is like night & day.
Service is a bit slow as a sit down restaurant (only 1 sushi chef), but it's WELL worth the wait! Takeout obviously solves the waiting problem with the same quality of food & presentation. Highly highly recommended!
Notre place préféré pour manger des Sushis de qualités à un prix plus que raisonnable. Les proprios sont toujours sur place, souriant & accueillant. Pour ceux & celles qui ne le connaisse pas encore, c'est à découvrir.
