This place embodies Japanese theme bar perfectly. The manager was very cool. They have plum wine from the Kansai region! That's so hard to find. Good music & good vibes. This is a gem in the rough.

We had dinner there last night.
The waiter was very helpful to pick out the best entrees to share. All was delicious.
The drinks were also very good.
Highly recommended
Service was amazing, our server Eddie was so kind & funny without being over the top. The food was also incredibly delicious & very filling. I would absolutely go again!!!
J'ai eu le plaisir de me faire recommender ce restaurant pour célébrer mon anniversaire, & je dois avouer que je ne suis pas déçue !
La réservation en ligne était simple & rapide. En arrivant sur place, le serveur nous a dit que l'équipe était réduite & nous a donc prévenu qu'il était possible qu'il y ai de petits délais sur l'arrivée de nos commandes.
Malgré tout, le service a été rapide & génial! Nous avons eu des recommandations & même les coups de coeur de notre serveur, si nous ne savions pas quoi choisir.
La nourriture était fraîche, chaude & ma fois savoureuse à souhait ! Pleins d'assaisonnements accompagnaient chaque repas.
L'ambiance était cozy & calme.
Un grand merci à toute l'équipe, c'est certain que je reviens bientôt!
Love the vibe in this place. They serve delicious Japanese dishes that you'll surely love. People are so nice & the place is well decorated. You'll feel transported to Japan! Will definitely go back.

Truly disappointed. Don't let you fool by the 4.6 rating. Excellent service, but food is just to avoid. Go there for the drink & vibe. We took 3 items to eat & they were all bad- sorry- will never come back.
Food portions were small & expensive, but tasty (took the pork curry). Bathrooms were also small & uncomfortable. Only 1 stall per gender. The decor would be nice if I could see, the place is very dark. The staff made the lights dimmer when we came in.

I went here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday with a large group of people & the experience was not great. I'll start off with the food: the chicken teriyaki was too overly sweet. The ramen & katsu was okay. The duck tataki was good but over priced for a small portion.
The service was so slow, they provided us cups but forgot to give us water & had to wait for awhile for it. They also mentioned they will give us a birthday shot & cake on the house but they never delivered rhat.
We also got our food one after another each time someone was pretty much done eating. & because of that it took us 3 hours to complete dinner. I was fed up since we had somewhere else to be, so I told one of the waitress & kitchen staff about how I felt with the service being slow they never apologized & spoke back to me with a passive aggressive tone.
It would have been understandable if the waiters took their time to check in on us to let us know if they were understaffed & apologized for the inconvenience but it baffles me that our large group was barely proactively checked in on throughout our dinner.
The only acknowledgement I got was from Eddie after leaving saying'thank you for your patience.' (Still 0 apology from anyone) At that point it was too late, this was a terrible birthday dinner. All of us agreed that this was the slowest we had ever ate at an establishment.
My feedback to your staff is if someone is providing criticism on your service & how they feel with the experience, it's important to acknowledge the customer to make them feel heard & attempt to de-escalate the situation by simply apologizing & do something proactive in resolving the issue. Nothing was done after… had there been 1 single proper apology I wouldn't be writing this review.
The food was great! Our daughter loves ramen & had the Ramen Noir-she absolutely loved it. The shrimp'Ebi' & the udon were also delicious. Eddie & Luna were amazing & made the experience even better!
Good Izakaya vibes with an impeccable service as always. The squid is well grilled & very fresh. The Okonomiyaki is my favorite ~
It's always nice to have a sake, plum wine, or sapporo to balance well with the food!
For a Wednesday, it's a perfect place to drink cold sake & relax. I may recommend making a reservation if it's during the weekends, though, since it's busier, but worth to pass by & try some new dishes
Literally a perfect first introduction to Japanese food.
Went here while on a road trip visiting Quebec since I'm from Ontario & can say that this place will be a visit in all my trips to Montreal (favourite city in the world) in the future.
The staff are great, the food is great, snd the place is clean & aesthetic.
The only thing I will say is that during my visit the place was rather hot (could've been from a broken a/c or something)
