Krispy Kreme began making original glazed doughnuts over 80 years ago. It wasn't until December 11, 2001, that the Krispy Kreme experience came to Canada with the opening of the Mississauga, Ontario store. Soon after, the first stores in Quebec City and Montreal opened their doors. From that point on, Krispy Kreme became a popular destination for those who appreciate the magic of our hot doughnuts and coffee.
Reviews show Krispy Kreme delivering fresh donuts with a wide variety and strong value, and service that is fast, friendly, and often bilingual, with many customers enjoying watching the donuts be made; common caveats include occasional old or cold donuts, missed birthday recognition, coffee sometimes unavailable, louder music during busy times, and a few cleanliness concerns, but overall the donuts, atmosphere, and staff create a positive impression and many would welcome more locations like Ottawa or Montreal.
When I used to live in Montreal & when I was in the area I tend to get their donuts & coffee. I thouroghly enjoyed their coffee & loved their filled donuts.
I bought a bag of coffee from this location & enjoyed it. It is close to Place des Art metro station & it's not even a minute from the walkable area of St.Catherine.
Absolutely the best original donut cafe is Canada hands down. These Krispy Kreme Donuts actually melt in your mouth after each amazing bite & you just want to eat the entire box. These donuts are addictive & your crave more & more until the bed is gone. Just wish we had a Krispy Kreme in Ottawa as it would do amazing business.
Popped in here a couple times to grab a dozen. They were fresh donuts & quite tasty. So much for my diet. We're on vacation so what the heck I suppose. I loved the variety of flavours they offered here.

If you're craving donuts this is the place to go. Lots of different classic options to choose from with also some specials in the mix. Depending on the time there could be a bit to wait, st Catherine gets lots of traffic around that area. Prices are really good, donuts are freshly made & honestly one of my favorites. The original glaze is simple but also the best one.
We went here in the middle of the afternoon & they were all out of the classic glazed donuts. We could only choose from a small selection of their other donuts. Krispy Kreme is known for their classic glazed donuts - I don't want your other donuts. I would go to Tim Hortons if I wanted a Boston cream donut. I'mve never before been to a Krispy Kreme that had run out of their classic glazed donut 🤯
Terrific, friendly staff greeted & was welcoming. Mocha was spot on & the chocolate eclair donut as well. Smallish store with some seating available. Tons of doughnut selections available on my visit. Premises were clean.
