This is the best Syrian restaurant I've ever visited. In a modern & classy environment, we were transported to Syria through the amazing dishes. Everything was extremely well seasoned, so flavourful. It all came out hot & crispy when it needed to be but tender & juicy as well. I will certainly be back, it's perfect for big groups too.
Resto Korban Lounge in Laval delivers a solid Lebanese dining experience. The menu offers the classics you'd expect, & everything comes out fresh & flavorful. The hummus texture wasn't the best, but it still tasted decent & paired well with the rest of the meal. What stood out most was the service, which was attentive & welcoming from start to finish. A good spot if you want traditional Lebanese food in a relaxed setting.
P.S, chicken was undercooked , the filet mignon was a bit tough. I guess it happens … all in all, it's a good experience . Prices are good!
We visited this restaurant on a Friday night as a group of five. There was a DJ & a singer, & I have to say the music was excellent-the ambiance was lively, & we really enjoyed the entertainment.
For $65 per person, the food offered was not really a good variety. On regular days, we've always found the food & service here to be very good, which is why we came back for the party night.
Unfortunately, this time the service left us disappointed. First, the menu listed a bottle of Black Label at $150, but when we ordered, we were told the price was actually $180 for 750ml. This kind of inconsistency isn't fair to customers-menu prices should be respected.
Second, while we were enjoying the music & dancing, the servers started removing all of our food without asking us, even though we hadn't finished eating. It gave the impression that they wanted us to leave as soon as possible, which really affected the experience.
In the end, our bill came to $600. We did have fun thanks to the music, but the service & price issues made the night less enjoyable. I'd recommend this place on a regular day for the food & service we know it can deliver, but not for a party night.
We had a big party last night at the restaurant Korban. It was our first time there, & unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. While the décor is nice & the food itself is good, the quantity of mezzas pales in comparison to other similar venues. The main platter of the dinner hardly had enough to serve everyone, which was unacceptable for the size of our group. On top of that, the service was poorly organized & far from adequate.
