Was a bit disappointed by the menu offered during Montreal à table… the portion was small & the flavour wasn't there. The Earl grey Cocktail was excellent!

J'ai tout adoré! Cuisine hyper intéressante, imparfaite à sa manière & on aime ça. Les goûts sont vraiment prenant. Le service est parfait. Je recommande vivement (Montréal à table)

Went recently for MTLaTABLE. One of the very best meals I have had in a long time. We sat at the bar (open kitchen) & wow it was fun. Watching the staff get everything together was amazing; I now have a much deeper appreciation for how hard restaurant staff work. We had great interactions with the entire staff - wait staff, kitchen staff. Everyone. The food was out of this world. Perfect flavors. Wonderful presentation (the plating was WOW). We will most definitely be back!

Un très beau menu pour Montréal à Table. Excellents plats, tous délicieux, les options foie gras & queue de homard en extra valent la peine! On était 3 donc on a choisi de la variété. Le service de Fred était très attentionné & il nous a donné de bonnes recommandations. On y retourne, c'est certain! 5⭐?

Le staff est super accueillant, l'ambiance très chaleureuse & la nourriture sublime ! Je recommande cet endroit à 1000%

This was not our first time at Kitchen Galerie. Those experiences were really outstanding. Today was different.
Yes, it was MTL à la Table, & there was a 4 course menu at 65$. The restaurant was packed. We were a party of 4, & were seated immediately. The waitress was well versed in the menu, & she did her best to manage what was thrown her way.
It took us some time to receive the 4 drinks ordered after we arrived. The waitress brought the bottle of wine we ordered before the drinks arrived. All drinks were outstanding - particularly the apple sour.
We were able to place our orders & each course took quite a bit of time to come out. There was a particularly long gap between the 2nd & 3rd course.
She asked us if we wanted bread, which we did. We saw all tables around us being served bread…. but not us. After waiting a while, my husband asked again for the bread. It finally came - but it took some time.
First course was ok. I got the extra oyster in tempura with the celeriac puree. The oyster was hard to find on the plate for an extra charge. The leek was a solid dish & so was the fois gras. The third course of braised beef was excellent. I ordered the linguine with lobster. The lobster was an extra charge. I could barely find the lobster in my pasta. When I did l, it was over cooked. The pasta had no salt. I found the dish relatively tasteless.
My sister in law ordered the same dish as I did, & her plate had a bigger portion & had way more oil & sauce. Mine was dry. To best honest, I cannot recall having a pasta that was so bland. The losbter was a total waste of money.
All of the desserts were excellent. We also ordered two bottles of wine. I normally like to stay consistent & order the same bottle through the meal - but after ordering one bottle, they didn't have another of the same type of wine to offer. I tried to order another wine in the same vein - & they didn't have that one either. I chose a French wine & it was no where near as good as the first bottle. They really appear to have a limited quantity of each wine.
We had dessert & almost immediately we were brought the bill. A few minutes later the host came to see us & said'we normally don't do this, but we need this table'.
I understand that each restaurant likes to turn tables & advises that you have the table for 2.5 hours….but we ate everything as fast as it came out. We waited so long for drinks & in between courses.
They barely gave us time to catch out breath before being kicked out after spending almost 800$.
Not a great experience at all. There are so many other great restaurants in the area. After our experience, I feel I would probably take my money elsewhere.

Nous sommes venu pour la première fois dans le cadre de MTL à table, nous avions déjà entendu parler de ce restaurant par des amis mais n'avions jamais eu la chance de le tester au paravant. Le menu dégustation de 4 services était délicieux, les spécialités au fois gras particulièrement. Le staff était chaleureux & attentif. Nous avons vraiment passé un excellente soirée & nous reviendrons essayer la carte prochainement c'est certain.
