KINTON RAMEN opened its first location in May 2012, debuting as Toronto’s first authentic Japanese ramen bar. With a dedicated focus on ramen, executive chef Aki Urata is uncompromising in his pursuit to serve the best quality noodles and broth. Our experienced ramen chefs prepare each and every topping, using only the freshest and highest quality ingredients. At KINTON RAMEN we invite you to experience our variety of exceptional ramen bowls, right down to the last drop.
Reviews of Kinton Ramen describe a place that started strong with flavorful bowls and now is seen by some as average and pricier than expected, yet the broad vegetarian options and comforting ramens keep many diners coming back. The broth favorites cited include miso and spicy garlic varieties, with springy noodles and fresh toppings that deliver rich, satisfying flavors and generous portions. Service is consistently praised for being fast and friendly, and the ambiance is described as cozy, clean, and suitable for a quick lunch or a casual dinner with friends or family. Some remarks note inconsistencies between locations and occasional slower service during busy times, along with practical quirks like seating that prioritizes style over function. Taken together, Kinton Ramen is viewed as a solid ramen spot with strong staff and good value in many reviews, especially for those seeking vegetarian options, though a few reviews call for improved value and consistency.
The place is good & big. The ramen is very tasty & different from what you usually got from around, however the portion is small. The soup is so little & you have to pay almost 6 CAD to add more soup!!! More expensive than to add beef or chicken!!! Even the other plats : goyoza or Karaage are really small.

Parfait pour un lunch rapide, mais pas suffisamment confortable pour une longue soirée. J'aime aussi commander & manger chez moi, c'est très réconfortant ❤?

My go-to place for cheap & tasty ramen. I usually get the value meal. The pork gyozas have a nice crunch & the chicken ramen is filling, well-balanced, not too salty. Service is fast & the servers are friendly.

This restaurant does not seem like much from the outside, but is very lovely & modern. We are the „value meal'- Gyoza, Ramen of choice & one dink & payed around 20$ (with tax). It was very yummy & warming from the inside & really filling. So everything you could want from a ramen place for a good price! 🙌
Used to be really good when they first opened nearby many years ago (before they moved here), but now it is just an average & overpriced ramen place like most.
