Kinton Ramen used to be my go-to place for great ramen. Nothing specific to say about their food; the karaage is excellent. I'd consider myself a regular customer, visiting at least 2-3 times per month. However, in the past few years, the service has gone downhill. It's now so bad that I waited 45 minutes for a ramen & a rice bowl & ended up walking out. They have around 10 employees in the restaurant, but nobody looks at you or pays attention to customers. People always wait for a glass of water, their food, or their tab. I will give a chance to other restaurants, but I don't think I will go back to the one in Laval again.View more

Ça fait plusieurs fois que l'on vient manger ici. La nourriture est bonne, rien à dire vraiment. Nous avons eu une expérience exécrable à cette dernière visite. Premièrement le restaurant n'était pas plein, un vendredi soir tranquil. Le serveur a pris nos commandes, mais ne les a probablement jamais punché. On a attendu une heure, le restaurant était vide, il ne restait quasiment plus personne & ça n'arrivait toujours pas... Le serveur en 1 heure n'est jamais venu nous voir, il restait sur le bord de la cuisine à jaser avec les autres employés. Il a fallu demander à un autre employé... finalement les plats sont arrivés, il nous dit qu'il a mis des extras... mais il n'a même pas demandé si ont les voulait! Il a mis des champignons alors que normalement il n'y en a pas & on aime pas les champignons. Imaginez si on avait eu une allergie. Innacceptable!! J'espères qu'il sera congédié. Superb atmosphere. Feels like a secret Isakaya in Laval. You are greeted by the staff in Japanese as you come in & leave the premises. Very friendly & modern. Would recommend.View more

I love the food here, the service is great too! But their choice to have most seating use these short stools without a back & metal framing with right angles clamping your thighs really needs to change. Incredibly uncomfortable.View more
