The service wasn't good at all. It was so complicated to get drinks & the waiter was almost mad that I wasn't sure what I wanted after waiting 20 minutes for him to notice our table. There was a group coming in after us & we had to move tables, it was so complicated for nothing. I ordered something by mistake & the waiter came back to say we had to have it since there wasn't any mistake by the kitchen. Sometimes 1 is a lot & some other time 1 is almost nothing. I wouldn't go back if the place is packed. The food is good (not the dragon roll) but it's expensive & in some other place you actually feel welcome.
It's not the first time we come to eat at Kimpo but this time the service was not good at all. We ordered 2 times then suddenly, waiters started to disappear. They would come to serve the tables near us & completely ignore us. I ordered a pizza sushi that took almost 40mins to come. By then we were already fed up. When we asked for the dessert, same thing, we had to wait & got our orders after 20mins. By the time it arrived, we just ate our ice cream & got up. My husband had already paid in advance because the service was so slow, but when we were about to leave, the same waiter who did the transaction had completely forgot & kept asking if we had already paid! So he had to show the waiter the receipt. Anyway, that was very disappointing for our family.

Notre serveur de boisson 10/10, le superviseur de plancher 10/10 les 2 jeunes garçons qui nous servais étaient impoli! Je lui mentionnes que le rouleau de sushi qui a été déposé sur ma table n'étais pas la mienne, il me répond "est-ce que c'est parce que tu l'aimes pas & tu ne veux pas payer pour ou c'est réellement parce que tu l'as commander"
Service très lent 2h30 & nous somme partie car le service étais tellement lent
J'avais mentionné à la réservation qu'il y avait 2 anniversaire en précisant les dates de celle-ci & elles n'ont pas été soulignées
Le serveur qui offret le service n'était pas présent pendant le repas. J'ai dû demander à la jeunne femme à la réception pour avoir accès au serveur, puisqu'il passait à côté de notre table sans nous porter attention. Nous avons commandé des bières par la suite. Après avoir patienté pendant 15-20 min nous avons redemandé au serveur si les bières arriveraient bientôt. Il nous a amené les bières par la suite. Nous avons commandé des crèmes glacées à la fin du repas. Le serveur est partie & il est revenu pour ramasser sans les crèmes glacées. Nous lui avons redemandé les crèmes glacées. Il est reparti & après plusieurs minutes d'attente les employés commençaient à fermer le restaurant. Nous avons donc payé & quitté sans avoir reçu nos crèmes glacées. Le serveur était sympathique, c'est pourquoi je donne au moins deux étoiles au service.
My friend won a giveaway from Instagram & decided to go at a night out. The food was pretty good. However, the store close at 10pm but we were kicked out at 9h30pm. We were constantly reminded that the restau is closing ( shutting music down, waiter says we are closing, waiter reminding us every 5min that theyre closing their kitchen ).
What was crazy is that when we paid the bill, the waiter wanted us to pay more tips because we won the raffle from instagram. I didnt want to fuss about giving a 30% tip since people in the food industry works hard but definitely not cool getting peer pressure.
I recommend going to the other Kimpo instead of this one. This gave me a first bad impression visiting this Kimpo
Bonne nourriture, service rapide des plats, mais moins rapide à desservir, ce qui créait une accumulation d'assiettes.
Même un jeudi soir, les lumières pourraient être plus tamisées & la musique plus forte😉... Ça donnerait plus envie de prendre plus de drinks🤪On a adoré le concept de la plaque chauffante au milieu de la table! Petite suggestion: Sur le menu, indiquer les quantités qui seront servies. Par exemple, si on sélectionne 1 crevette, indiquer la quantité de crevettes qui désignent 1 portion. Merci! :))
