Customer service was amazing, they were very welcoming. The prices are great & the food is amazing!
The shrimp was the best & crispiest shrimp i've ever had! Could've had more flavour for the pad see ew but it was good regardless & can always add hoisin sauce yourself!
No parking sadly, there's a kim phat you can park at. They only do walk ins
UPDATE: went second time, the calamari is to DIE FOR! it is perfect!!!
This Chinese restaurant has Vietnamese speaking staff & has a variety of Asian dishes that are quite reasonably priced when you consider that most of the dishes are large enough to be shared by 3 to 4 people.
The best way to enjoy this restaurant is to order several different dishes & share with friends/family....
We were a table of 5 people & spent only about $120 for supper , which is quite acceptable.
First time trying out this location after they moved out of St Michel. I ordered via phone & it went very smooth. The price are little bit cheaper than the competitors & the foods were good. I will definitely go back.
Kim Hour is now on Jarry Street & is one of the many choices of Cambodian's & chinese restaurant.
Price is very reasonable.
On street parking available atound the building.
my first visit to Kim Hour .. the young lady at the cash said it's a couple of weeks since they moved from St Michel .. i ordered beef & chinese brocoli , salt & pepper fish & ma po tofu to go... let me say this .. it was very very very good ! price is right , portions are great ! hats off to the chef ! .. i will be back !
Been going to this restaurant for years now & when I venture out of downtown & have a craving for some of the best Korean & Thai food served in a truly unique environment, this is a gem that is worth the trip. We ordered Rouleau Impériaux, Kim Hour noodles (with shrimps), Beef & Chicken Thailandaise & the famous Fried Chicken Wings. All this was served piping hot & within 10 minutes the plates arrived. All the dishes were very tasty, hot & served in large plates. This is a nice place to go with friends & sit around a large circular table. It is a BYO wine & they serve hot tea with the meal. The menu is vast, only available in a plastified version that has seen better days. Interesting fact, the 15% gratuity is included in the price! It's a definite go & looking for my next visit:))
For quality versus price this is one of the best places I've been to. For less than $30 Canadian you will leave the place with your stomach full. Can seat about 150 people
Very good food & very well-priced Nothing fancy as atmosphere. Been here already a few times. Many options in the menu Love the Thai quail, soft shell crab Singapore noodles Fried dumplings Tepanyaki beef I would definitely recommend it. Ordered about 10 plates, total $170, including tax & 15 percent tip.
Great food & price! Its alot of food for just 2 people so max 3 things is more than enough. I highly recomend the Kim Hour fried rice, great base with the pepper beef with veggies.
