It was my first time trying Afghani food, & it was so delicious. My family loved it so much as well. We'll definitely go back when we visit Canada again!!
My first time trying Afghan food & it's so good!! we ordered Set 2 (comes with soup, main course, dessert, & tea/coffee) & everything was delicious. Also, I don't normally like lamb but I heard that it's really good here, so I ordered it & it's the first lamb I've actually enjoyed! The pistachio rose pudding was absolutely heavenly & the tea was so floral & spiced!
I've been here twice, the second time within a few weeks of the first because I loved the food so much. Highly recommend going with the set menu in order to sample all of the dishes; really great value for all the food you get. I've enjoyed every dish I've had, from the bread & dips right to the dessert. Highlights for me are the sambossa, borani aubergines, kabuli palaw, & korma chalaw. We got lucky the first time as a group of 5 people without a reservation, but in general I would recommend making a reservation. The only suggestion for improvement would be more consistent service. The first visit, we had very attentive, helpful service where the waiter explained the dishes & also told us our options for different types of tea. The second time, a few weeks ago, the service felt quite impersonal & almost rushed, & I received a black tea instead of being asked for my preferences. That said, the host noticed I was quite cold & actually turned the heat up for me, & the timing of each course was great.
On recommande vivement.
The table d'hôte is incredible value! Wonderful service! Beautiful food, such rich & deep sauces. The dessert & tea to cap it off was magnificent. Will be going back!

Best Afghan food, high quality food! I did not know Afghan food before this & I have not been able to find another Afghan restaurant that matches the quality here. Highly recommend!
Amaazing food. I & my Housbend love going there. The whole experience from start to finish is great waitress . mobin Mahdi ,zainnedin, semmon, moubin are always so friendly & kind. The food can't get better & the prices are fair for the portion size. Always a great spot to get great food.
It was my first time trying Afghan cuisine & I was pleasantly surprised! The lamb dish was tasty & generous. The ambiance felt cozy & traditional. Nice experience!
