Review Summary

Khyber Pass is widely regarded as a culinary gem in Montreal, offering an authentic and immersive Afghan dining experience. Diners frequently praise the high quality of the food, highlighting the tender, fall-off-the-bone lamb shank, flavorful Kabuli Palaw, and a variety of delicious vegetarian options. The restaurant features a warm, culturally rich atmosphere with beautiful decor and a highly appreciated outdoor patio, making it feel like a true escape. Guests often recommend the table d'hôte menu for its excellent value, and the bring-your-own-wine policy adds to the appeal. While service is consistently described as professional and attentive, the overall sentiment reflects a long-standing establishment that successfully combines tradition, consistency, and hospitality in every meal.

It's decent, but nothing particularly remarkable.

Tasty food, not dissimilar from Lebanese in flavour, but portions were rather small. I had lamb & it was super soft, although the sauce was a little spicy, for which I paid a price overnight

The waitstaff were nice & very accommodating, the atmosphere was quite enjoyable, & the food was stellar. The mourg chalaw was delicious. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, & dripped off the bone. While the sauce that came with the meat tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend trying this place.
