Khyber Pass offers a warm, immersive Afghan dining experience with authentic flavors and generous portions. The table d'hôte is a standout value, delivering soups, mantoo, Ashak and Kabuli Palaw with tender lamb, all complemented by aromatic rice and thoughtful spices. The atmosphere blends cozy interiors with a welcoming back patio and decor that transports guests to Kabul, and the BYOB policy plus attentive service make for relaxed, memorable evenings.
Tasty food, not dissimilar from Lebanese in flavour, but portions were rather small. I had lamb & it was super soft, although the sauce was a little spicy, for which I paid a price overnight
Food was incredibly good, i love showing this place to friends & family. The BYOB-feature also gives you the freedom to drink whatever you want :) Thanks, will come again;)

The waitstaff were nice & very accommodating, the atmosphere was quite enjoyable, & the food was stellar. The mourg chalaw was delicious. The meat was well seasoned, juicy, & dripped off the bone. While the sauce that came with the meat tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend trying this place.
We are visiting from Edmonton, AB, & had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious & authentic. Mohammed was excellent & provided us with great recommendations. A must-visit place in Montreal!
Nestled in the heart of Montreal, Khyber Pass offers an authentic taste of Afghan cuisine that delights the senses. The lamb kebab & shank are simply excellent - tender, flavourful, & perfectly seasoned. The rice, infused with interesting spices, complements the dishes beautifully. The table d'hote menu provided a generous selection at a very fair price, making it a great value for money. One of the highlights is the beautiful terrasse in the back, providing a peaceful & charming ambiance for outdoor dining. For drinks, it is BYOB, maybe add some non-alcoholic beer? Just a thought 😊. The cardamom-infused green tea is fabulous, but served in a small cup, & the waiter did not offer a refill, which was a slight letdown. Despite this, the overall experience at Khyberpass was delightful, & it is a must-visit for anyone looking to explore Afghan flavours in Montreal.
Belle ambiance. Authentique.

I adore this place. The food was delicious & full of flavour. The restaurant itself is has great character & charm. The waiting staff was so accommodating. We were a large group with four small children. Our waiter went the extra mile to make sure we were all taken care of. We will definitely be back!

My first Afghan dish experience & we weren't disappointed! Food was great & the menu offers very decent choices. Ambiance is pretty nice & very Montreal-esque. It was a great night to eat & enjoy a good wine, with good company 😊 Service makes a difference as well. Our waiter was very friendly, hard worker & listened to us like a person. He took time even it was busy. I recommend this place & will come back...hopefully before summer ends to enjoy the Terrace.
