This place used to be in my opinion a 4.5 star restaurant Overall & a 5 star in service . The welcome was warm it felt like home . Food also warm & delicious.
Since they've changed the owners it's really not the same . The new owners are not even from Cambodia. They added the word'Halal' to their menu feels more commercial. the feeling of a family owned business has completely dissapeared. Food is still flavorfull not as what it used to be. But one thing they should absolutely fix is the service.
I came in to eat & the lady in the front was speaking in arabic on her phone while being on full blast speaker phone. She served me while doing so as well. Didn't bother putting her phone away. I really felt like a transaction not a client.
Talked to the restaurant, probably the owner, by accident. It seems like a nice place to try out next time travelling to Laval. God blesses this place.

Resto vide... & cher. Les clients commande principalement pour emporter. Pas du tout impressionnée par la nourriture. Ma soupe de type pho était sans goût. Le resto semble jeune & peu expérimenté. Le commis au comptoir parlait très fort avec la cuisine à l'arrière & ils semblaient désorganisés. Ils ont même rappelé une cliente pour leur dire qu'il n'avaient plus de poulet. 🫤 Un samedi soir à 19:00.... On a essayé, on ira ailleurs la prochaine fois.
Awesome little place. I love their beef soup & their spring rolls. I went there a bit before closing time yet the owner was very accommodating to me & my son. You could tell she cares about her business & her customers.
Très bonne nourriture, tout était frais & délicieux. Les portions sont vraiment grandes. On a pris la soupe Phnom Pen, riz frit aux crevettes, nouilles sautées & pad Thaï. Même qualité pour tous les plats. Belle découverte. Je recommande.

Excellent & quick service! The cashier was very polite, took the time to explain every dish, made recommendations & was very patient. Place is clean, food is delicious & the portions are very generous.
I lived 4 months in Siem Reap & regularly ordered Lok Lak, that was my favourite meal.
I have decided to try it out here. Funny enough but I find it unauthentic in a good way - beef here is better that I had in Cambodia ( don't know if it is a way of cooking or simply because quality of beef is superior in Canada ).
However what I liked more in Cambodia - they were very generous with Kampot's pepper! Here I feel like lack of pepper.
Overall liked the dish here, not the same I used to have in different places in Siem Reap, but still good enough.
