This place is exceptional. First of all. Hakka cuisine is next to impossible to find this authentic in Montreal. Second. The rest of their Indian menu is top notch. Prices are good. Spice is incredible. They do not dull this for people who are not used to spices. High quality ingredients. Incredible place. So lucky to have this place in the neighborhood.

The worst thing about this place is how hard it is to choose what to eat because its all be A+ & youre going to want to try everything.

We've been to Khao Peeyo a few times now, & are always pleased with the unique flavour in their dishes. We like it spicy & they did a great job making it just the right level of spice. We ordered the shahi paneer, chicken biryani, paratha, & mango lassi. Everything was wonderful. We will be going back for sure!

I had such a wonderful time at this Indian restaurant. Every single dish was delicious - full of rich flavours, fresh ingredients, & perfectly balanced spices. The server was incredibly sweet, attentive, & made the whole experience even better with her warm attitude. The environment is also amazing: cozy, welcoming, & beautifully decorated.

Highly recommend this place if you're looking for great food & great service!
