By rolling, kettling, and baking traditional Montreal Bagels in a wood-burning oven using hand-picked hardwood, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to the traditional quality of the food, we have become a food institution — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year — for over 25 years. It is my best place to enjoy bagels! Almost every day I eat there my fav bagel déjeuner with no bacon & extra avocado. I can do it by myself at home but I know definitely they will make it for me much betteView more

J’aime énormément leurs bagels, ils sont de très bonne qualités. Par contre mon seule souci qui me démotive à y’aller plus souvent qu’un concourant est la contamination des aliments. En effet, chaque fois que je prends une bagel simple fromage à la crème, je peux goûter d’autre ingrédients dans le goût du fromage. Aujourd’hui, mon bagel au bleuet goûtait le saumon fumé. La dernière fois un goût de viande/tomate. Je peux supposer que les espace de préparation & les couteaux de ne sont pas assez dûment nettoyer. C’est dommage. Attention au personnes avec des allergies. Je suis végétarienne & manger un bagel avec un arrière goût de saumons ne me plaît pas du tout. Je crois qu’il y a un ajustement à faire de ce côté.View more

Bagels moyens, le spécial au saumon était ok mais le turkey n’avait pas trop de goût & mal préparé, il y en avait partout en ouvrant la boite. Par ailleurs, dommage que la viennoiserie à la cannelle ne soit pas fraiche.

Me & my son were looking for a good place to eat & I remembered someone told me about how great the bagels were in Montreal. We stopped at Kettlemans Bagel on Rue de la Montagne last night & ended up coming back the next afternoon. It was a great experience both times. Everyone was friendly & the bagels, the bagal sandwiches & the various pastries were Awesome! If we find ourselves in Montreal again we will definitely come back to Kettlemans.View more

Very pretty place. Bagel was just ok. They gave you a remote that vibrates when your order is ready. Latke is pretty bad. 3 bucks & it's doughy, slightly burnt yet undercooked.
Bagel & cream cheese was 5 bucks.

Decided to go in again & got a fritter.
It was so oily, it seeped through the bag & napkins.
Took a chance & bit into it & spat it out. I was raw inside. It was soaked in oil & the flour tasted raw. The inside is extremely gummy & disgusting.
Will not be trying kettleman's again.View more
