"Kettlemans Bagel opened in Ottawa in August of 1993. When the business started, our mission was to make the best bagels you could find. By rolling, kettling, and baking traditional Montreal Bagels in a wood-burning oven using hand-picked hardwood, and maintaining an unwavering commitment to the traditional quality of the food, we have become a food institution — 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year — for over 25 years. However, tradition does not mean much if the authenticity is gone."

I'm giving a 3 stars because i'm normally very satisfied with the quality of products & the great service but was unfortunately disappointed this morning when I ordered the breakfast bagel egg, bacon & cheese sandwich only to arrive at work & open it up & see the egg is missing & also on regular sesame bagel when I had asked for poppy seed bagel.. needless to say it tasted quite dry without the most important ingredient, the egg!View more

La Nourriture est délicieuse , mais une chose ne fonctionne pas pour moi . Les employés ne parle que Anglais ne comprennent pas un mots français. Nous avons des lois & nous sommes sencer pouvoir ce faire servir en Français. Meme Fromage a la crème il ne le comprenne pas je crois que c'est la base quand on travaille dans un magasin de Bagel 😅View more

Great bagel shop in the heart of downtown Montreal but this morning they had no fresh bagels. Unacceptable for a 24/7 bagel shop. They offered me a 0.50$ discount on a bag of yesterdays bagels. It would be better to have two prices, one for fresh & one for supermarket grade plastic bagged bagels at the supermarket price.View more

We stopped by before Cirque du Soleil show to get some bagels & drinks, & after checking receipt I noticed that the cashier charged me for two extra drinks, which amounted to about extra $7 in total. I went to the register & it took him & a manager about 10 mins to issue credit for those imaginary drinks. Meanwhile, my bagel & coffee were getting cold. & nobody even apologized to me for overcharging & for the wait. It never happened to me in US so I would suggest to ask for receipt & verify the items.View more
