About

Ketiw Comptoir Cambodgien specializes in traditional Cambodian street food staples with a focus on artisanal noodle soups and expertly crafted sandwiches. The menu showcases the signature ketiw noodle soup, featuring a complex, clear broth accompanied by fresh herbs, minced meat, and precise toppings that define authentic Khmer cooking. Each sandwich utilizes crusty, freshly baked baguettes layered with savory meats, pickled vegetables, and bold pâté, reflecting the enduring influence of French culinary heritage on local Cambodian flavors. The kitchen maintains high standards through the use of vibrant aromatics like lemongrass, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves. Patrons encounter a direct, flavor-forward approach where each dish emphasizes textural contrast and balanced spice profiles. This establishment serves as a focused culinary hub for those seeking genuine Southeast Asian profiles served in a streamlined, efficient, and uncompromising format.

Review Summary

Ketiw Comptoir Cambodgien is widely recognized for its authentic, flavorful Cambodian comfort food, with many patrons praising the delicious noodle soups, fragrant broths, and popular sandwiches. While the restaurant is frequently described as a cute, clean, and welcoming spot with a pleasant patio and efficient service, experiences regarding the staff can be inconsistent. Some guests have noted issues with slow service or an unfriendly demeanor, and there are occasional reports of fluctuating portion sizes or quality in specific dishes, yet the overall consensus remains highly positive, marking it as a standout dining destination on Wellington.

Food & flavors were excellent. a/c wasn't working on the day we went. 32C outside so it was very hot in there. Not really their fault but made it harder to enjoy. We love their sister restaurant street monkeys so we went to try it.

Love their soups - clean restaurant space & quick service ✅ would recommend to anyone looking for a nice lunch spot !! In the summer they have a nice street patio area as well - bonus points for the selection of snacks to purchase for your pantry!

I had a great experience here! The nom pang (sandwich) was absolutely delicious - we tried the chicken kroeung & it was packed with flavor. The dry noodles were so good & really reminded me of my childhood, which made the meal even more special. The broth on the side was surprisingly tasty too!

The only small thing for me was that the soup didn't have a bone, which I usually enjoy for extra flavor, but it's not a big deal. I also wish the cha kway (donut) had been a bit warm or a bit crispy.

Overall, it's such a cute spot with really great food. I'd definitely come back!
