Kazo Ramen is widely praised for its excellent bowls and its cozy compact setting that makes a sit down feel special. The menu offers creamy tonkotsu and other broth varieties such as yuzu and spicy paitan, along with crowd favorites like gyoza, karaage and okonomiyaki, all served with a quick and friendly touch. Reviewers note flavorful broths, well textured noodles, and well balanced toppings, with many calling it one of the best ramen spots in Montreal and worth a visit for ramen lovers. The decor, especially anime posters and a welcoming vibe, adds to the overall experience. While the space is small and can get crowded during peak hours, the prices are fair and the service is consistently friendly, making Kazo Ramen a reliable go to for a comforting meal. Some opinions hint at variations in authenticity and occasional inconsistency across dishes, but the overall tone is enthusiastic and eager to return for favorites like the tonkotsu or the yuzu ramen.
went there & took a creamy tonkutsu ramen, was really flavourful. the girl who served us was so sweet, she made sure everything was right & she even complimented us which was so sweet
Walked in at 9pm on a Monday & our server was very nice to accommodate us a spot for 4! She is patient & kind, which I appreciate!
As well, the ambiance is very cozy & I really like the posters😁
As for the food, I am enjoying the Spicy Tantan!
I'm from Taiwan. I love Japanese Ramen very very much. I had never expected that I could taste quite a high quality Japanese Ramen in CA. It is very impressive
Such a quaint little place with a uniquely Japanese atmosphere, manga & anime on the walls, it just feels right. Also, the food! Wow! Best ramen I've ever had, also added pork to the dish & omg, best decision ever! Make sure you do that! The pork is so well seasoned & juicy & delicious!!! Definitely a must stop if you want that wonderful, comforting ramen.
I had the shoyu ramen. It's not bad, but definitely don't taste like a bowl you can have in Japan. It taste like a classic Chinese noodle soup
Not a place for ramen enthusiasts
