Review Summary

Kazo Ramen is widely regarded as a standout destination in Montreal, frequently praised for its rich, flavourful broths, authentic atmosphere, and welcoming service. Many patrons appreciate the cozy, anime-themed decor and the unique variety of ramen options, such as the Yuzu and Spicy Tantan, which offer a refreshing departure from standard menu items. While the majority of visitors describe their experience as exceptional and highlight the quality of the food, a small number of guests expressed concerns regarding inconsistent noodle quality, pork preparation, or specific side dishes like the okonomiyaki. Despite the restaurant being small and occasionally requiring a wait during peak hours, it remains a highly recommended spot for those seeking a comforting and memorable bowl of ramen in a chill, hole-in-the-wall setting.

Tiny restaurant with delicious ramen. I tried the spicy paitan ramen with pork. The broth was very rich & flavorful & the noodles were well cooked. The donburi & the creamy tonkotsu ramen were also pretty good.

The place is very small with just a few tables, but the vibe is fun with a lot of anime stuff on the wall.

The egg looks like those pre made ones from plastic bags. The meat was cut in a way that it gets into your teeth. The table smells a bit of windex. It's not bad but definitely not a top ramen place in town.

C'était ma deuxième visite. Deux fois sans fautes! Les bouillons sont savoureux, la texture des nouilles est parfaite, un vrai régal!

Nice little spot around town offering the necessary Japanese food craving. Double orders of Oyakodon & Takoyaki & one serving of Cream Corn Croquettes (there were 3, I forgot to grab a pic beforehand). While the Oyakodon was saltier than expected for both me & my partner, it's a nice little casual spot for small groups (4 max I'd say). Give it a try!
