This was our first time visiting Kamoun Restaurant in Laval, & we came based on my cousin's recommendation. We went on a Sunday & arrived just after opening, around 10:15 AM.
When we walked in, the music was very loud, especially for that early in the morning. We asked the waitress to lower the volume, which she did.
We ordered a variety of breakfast items, including foul mdamas, msabaha (mousabaha), fatteh, eggs with sujouk, & my cousin decided to try the fawarej & lsanat.
As soon as you sit down, they bring Lebanese coffee without asking. Three of us don't drink Lebanese coffee, so I really think they should ask before serving it.
As for the food, it was just okay.
The eggs with sujouk were disappointing & lacked flavor.
The msabaha was good.
The foul was not to my taste - they use large fava beans & don't mash them, which looked & felt a bit odd to me.
The restaurant itself is nice, clean, & cozy, & the food presentation was fine. However, even though the place wasn't busy, the waitress never came back to check on us, ask how the food was, or see if we needed anything.
Prices felt a bit high for what was offered. When my cousin went to pay, he noticed the bill was higher than expected. After checking, he realized we were charged multiple times for the msabaha, fatteh, & foul. Thankfully, they corrected it & removed the extra charges, but it was still an unpleasant moment.
Overall, I'd give this place 3 stars. Nothing terrible, but nothing special either. I'm honestly not sure if I would return.
This restaurant is clean, cozy, & very welcoming. The food is fresh, tasty, & nicely served. Every dish had great flavor & big portions.
The staff is kind, helpful, & quick. The service made the visit even better.
Overall, it's a great place for a delicious meal. Highly recommended

If I can give 10 stars to this restaurant I would. Amazing delicious middle eastern cuisine. Staff is welcoming, tables & washroom very clean. I'm very picky when it comes to authentic arab cuisine & Kamoun did not disappoint. We tried falafels (SO CRISPY & FRESH 💚), scrambled eggs, foul (WOW LIKE WOW 😍) & fattet b'laban (so good i can eat the bowl myself 🤩).

Who ever loves this particular type of food, you ll be surprised how amazing it tastes it shows they cook with love . I also want to mention how clean everything is. We had a great time
My recent visit to Kamoun left me with a mix of positive impressions & a little room for curiosity. From the moment I walked in, I appreciated the clean, welcoming space & the excellent service-staff were attentive, friendly, & made the experience feel effortless. The atmosphere added to the charm, buzzing with good vibes that made the visit feel lively yet relaxed. I ordered the Fatteh Tahini & Fatteh Kamoun, both of which arrived looking absolutely Instagram-worthy-vibrant, layered, & beautifully presented. While the dishes were visually appealing, the flavor fell into the "okay" category for me. They weren't bad by any means, but they didn't quite hit the bold, memorable notes I'd hoped for. That said, the quality felt fresh, & the textures were on point. Despite this, I'm already planning a return trip for lunch! The main plates I spotted on some pictures shared in here looked utterly delicious, well-crafted dishes that promise to satisfy. I'm eager to give them a try & explore more of the menu. Final thoughts: A spotless venue, stellar service, & a vibe that's hard to beat make this place worth visiting. While the Fatteh didn't wow my taste buds, the overall experience has me optimistic about their other offerings. If the mains live up to their appearance, this could easily become a regular lunch haunt. 4/5 for now-with potential to climb higher!
This is the most delicious & clean place ever, the taste & presentation. I come all the way from Ottawa to just eat from this place I tried the breakfast & lunch highly recommended…

Highlights: the best fatteh I've ever had. Incredibly fresh & perfect balance of flavor- Take the one with eggplant. Good hummus. Friendly service. Clean place. Lowlights: the vegetables that accompany the dishes are lacking in assortment & quantity compared to other similar restaurants (no tomato, no onion, no radish, & very tiny mint). The foul mdamas was a bit runny for my taste, but it did have a nice tangy flavor.
One of the best restaurant in Laval/Montreal. High quality food, clean, very tasty. I strongly recommend.
English: Ok, don't know where to start. I'm a hummus freak , I live ti hummus & I hummus to live, for the point? This is, without exaggeration the best hummus I've had in my life, in all of Canada & Middle East, this was our first time & I'm already hooked, it's addiction, the quality of food , the cleanliness, the generosity of the owner (Micheline) never seen before, these people are extremely generous & in the hospitality business, you need to be generous. I've had the privilege to chat with Micheline, the owners wife (about Charbel) & those people are genuine, very very, extremely generous & they rectify how Mediterranean maza / food needs to be made. I highly recommend giving them a try, you won't regret it & thank me later. In addicted from the first visit, will visit them again next week to try what we couldn't try. Check the pictures, everything was made extremely well, yummy 🤤 & tasteful. Keep up the good work & hopefully you'll open in Laval. You deserve an award for the quality, taste, generosity ! C'est, sans exagération, le meilleur houmous que j'ai mangé de ma vie, dans tout le Canada & le Moyen-Orient, c'était notre première fois & je suis déjà accro, c'est une addiction, la qualité de la nourriture, la propreté, la générosité de la propriétaire (Micheline) jamais vue auparavant, ces personnes sont extrêmement généreuses & dans le secteur de l'hôtellerie, il faut être généreux. J'ai eu le privilège de discuter avec Micheline, la femme du propriétaire (à propos de Charbel) & ces personnes sont authentiques, très très, extrêmement généreuses & elles rectifient la façon dont la maza / la nourriture méditerranéenne doit être préparée. Je vous recommande vivement de les essayer, vous ne le regretterez pas & me remercierez plus tard. Je suis accro depuis la première visite, je leur rendrai visite la semaine prochaine pour essayer ce que nous n'avons pas pu essayer.
