Le restaurant Kam Shing dessert la clientèle depuis 1997 pour plus de 20 ans. Kam Shing Van Horne est assez proche de la sortie Van Horne, de la station de métro Plamondon, sur la ligne Orange. Le stationnement extérieur (à quelques mètres) est vaste et il y a un stationnement gratuit à proximité. Le menu étendu a récemment été mis à jour et additionné (de plus de 200 mets) de plats cantonais et szechuannais. La cuisine chinoise est authentique et est classée par plusieurs, parmi les meilleures de Montréal. Les portions sont très généreuses et de nombreux convives rapportent les restes pour le lendemain. La nourriture est offerte à un prix raisonnable, elle est délicieuse, fraîche et de la plus haute qualité. Le restaurant est décrit comme servant des articles exceptionnels comme la soupe aigre et piquante, du poulet général Tao, des crevettes au sel et au poivre, du Chow Mein cantonais, des dumplings au poulet, beurre d'arachides et poivrons verts sinon les brocolis aux nouilles de riz dans une sauce au haricot noir. Ils existent de nombreux plats végétariens, sans gluten et sans GMS, si demandés. Le restaurant est permis et offre une variété de bières, y compris des bières chinoises, du saké, des vins et d'autres boissons.

Excellent service, excellent portions, excellent taste, every person on the staff was smiling.( Nice to see these days) The food was delicious. General Tao was delicious, large chunks of chicken, personally I would have liked it to be more spicy (personal comment) but that's me. The portions were enough that we (my son has & I) brought home enough for a complete other meal! & we ate!! The price was quite reasonable, like I said, enough for a complete second meal! Definitely recommend Definitely will return.
we have been going to this restaurant for the last thirty five years We were at the restaurant tonight. & we found that the service was not very good. The food was of poor quality We asked for a hot & sour soup & it came in cold & didn't taste proper as if it was watered down We had to return the soup twice before we got it right. The chicken with fried noodles & black bean sauce was good. All the waiters were stressed & were carrying a wireless device. The manager did not smile as usual & looked to be extremely stressed. The lighting seemed to have been upgraded. I believe there is a change in ownership of the restaurant because something really had changed There was a brand new menu & this menu seem to be at least thirty to forty percent more expensive than what we have seen in this restaurant over the last time we were at the restaurant during the summer. This is disappointing to us who have been a loyal patrons for this restaurant over the last thirty five years Our rating for this restaurant has dropped to 3 / 5 at the best. We may think again, before choosing to go again...

RIDICULOUS SERVICE. I am so incredibly angry. After already having come here tons of times & leaving a tip, I sat down with a table full of people on to have the waiter approach us & tell us that it is obligatory to pay a 10% tip if we want to be served (which we were already going to pay because we have basic courtesy.) We ate our food which was TERRIBLE & when we asked to split the bill the waiters were so rude & refused to do it. As I spent 20 minutes calculating the split of 7 people myself, the waiter approached me & rudely reminded me that gratuity is not included In the bill. Worst service I've every had.
Always pleasant here....I have never ever seen what you describe. Split the bill? Can you not divide the amount among you on your own?..... Maybe McDonalds is better for you.....or a pizza. Looking forward to my New Years dinner at Kam Shing tomorrow.

I had such a bad service you cannot imagine. The waiters are very rude - cut you off & dont respect you. When i was making my order he just said you choose faster & left.
Never eating there again & I would not recommend it to anyone.
This restaurant serves extremely good cashew chicken & soup but I would now recommend everyone to AVOIT IT. I was polite & cheerful but waiter in charge was aggressive & insulting, as if I was some lame intern he could boss around.
I complied but told him was attitude was disrespectful. He said yes & told me to do just what he said, raising his voice.
I walked away. A shame, I considered it at one point as the best Chinese restaurant around the 'hood. Always keep your head up people !
Im very disspointed with my order. I ordered 2 LARGE special fried rice by phone. By the time I arrive they only prepared 1 order or it & asked that I wait 5 mins (10 mins total & I see 3 plates of fried rice come out from the kitchen during that time.) Got my order left & by the time I made it to my destination. I was given 2 SMALLS of my order. Can you imagine my disspointment & anger Im never going back to this restaurant nor would I recommend ordering anything from here ever again. thanks for nothing.
Il y a2jours,on est allé souper chez ce resto,la bas,ce qui m'attirait premièrement est son belle ambiance,vous pouvez imaginer dans cette si belle ambiance,plus les serveurs chaleureux,ça nous donne un bon appétit .pas juste ça,dans ce resto ,le plus apprécié pour moi,ce sont les nourritures,surtout le soupe de Wonton & les canardes rôtis,tout ça.ca donne une texture vraiment différente que les autres.C'est le resto que je trouve le plus bon,ça me tente de y revenir encore.
