One of the best sandwich spots I've ever tried! The bread is baked fresh for each order. It's light & airy like a pita but crusty like sourdough - it makes this place stand out!
Le Poulet & Le Thun sandwiches are amazing! Fresh fried chicken cutlet dusted with sumac is worth a try. We've also had the Le Kebab which was also very good!
Don't forget to get the Kahwa sauce, a spicy harissa & maybe sumac mayo based sauce added to each dish.
This location is the best! Nice space, fast & friendly service!
my favourite place in montreal. visited the city twice now as my partner is here for a year & kawha's falafel sandwich is all i can think about inbetween visits. so so so good, the freshest & most yummy bread, everything just 10/10.

I've been to the Mont Royal street Kahwa Cafe & i must say their sandwich tastes different. I somewhat prefer the ones on Mont Royal but this one definitely has more flavour & spices. They are also much more filled with chicken than the ones at Mont Royal. The cashier is nice, the cooks don't really talk to u & they r a little slow but it was worth the wait. I'd say i waited 5-10min. Bread always fresh, chicken too. Wasn't too busy, the one of Mont Royal is always super duper busy. Idk why but the prices are different, it's more expensive on Rachel. Anyway, overall excellent, would definitely choose Rachel only if Mont Royal is too busy.
Their sandwiches are really good, & the fresh bread baked to order makes them even better. I've tried both the chicken panko & the lamb, & the chicken with their harissa is by far my favorite. That said, the lamb has been a bit dry lately, it used to be super tender when I first tried it.
The staff is really nice, & the atmosphere is great, though sometimes the music can get a bit loud.
Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for a meal !
This is the best Kahwa of them all. They're all superb, but this one the sandwiches are always packed & so fresh. The fries are also much better at this location (I think it's just better equipped in general). Wish they had Salem Cola too tho :
Kahwa Café Rachel one is like no other! Their bread is always fresh I never finish a whole bread anywhere else, but at Kahwa I do every time. The Rachel location has the best service & honestly feels like you're having a full Tunisian experience right here in Montreal. Plus, Achraf & Joe are my buddies ❤?🤍they make every visit feel personal & welcoming. Hands down one of the best spots in the city!

Amazing sandwiches. No matter at what time i show up whether it's early or closer to closing time, it's always fresh!! Even when packed with people, you never wait an unreasonable amount of time, it's also my favorite location! It's spacious & there are always seats available. Workers are always nice no matter how rushed it is! Appreciate them all :)
My first time here & it seems like an extremely popular place as there was a long wait & diverse clientele. I enjoyed my lamb sandwich which wasn't top greasy or heavy. I appreciated that they use homemade bread that is freshly baked on the spot.
Best lamb sandwich I've had! The sauce is great, meat tender, vegetables fresh & bread is freshly baked. Only complaint is that the service suffers a little when they are busy/at peak hours, which is almost all the time. Other than that, food is spectacular!

I wanted to try this place for a long time & now I wish I would have gone there earlier! Not only is the service friendly & efficient but their sandwiches are fantastic! I took the panko chicken one & it was fried to perfection, fresh & well seasoned. Their house sauce was very flavorful. The price (around 10-13$) is fair since the sandwich is quite big & consistent.
I would have given Kahwa a 4/5 if it wasn't for the real MVP : their bread. Clearly homemade, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside : it really changes everything!
Next time I will try their lamb sandwich for sure.
Bonus : their open support to the Palestinian cause deserves a thumbs up!

I had an incredible meal here! The chicken was absolutely fantastic - perfectly cooked, juicy, & full of flavor. I ordered the chicken sandwich & it was amazing - super fresh, with a great balance of textures & a sauce that tied everything together beautifully. Honestly, I highly recommend coming here over Ma Poule Mouillée across the street. If you're looking for a satisfying, top-quality meal, this is the spot!
This cafe was recommended to us by someone, so we tried it & weren't disappointed. My wife & I both ordered the Panko Chicken Sandwich which is in freshly made bread to order.

I recently visited this restaurant, & while the space is a bit small (I'm not sure about their other locations), the customer service was absolutely amazing!
As for the food, it was delicious. We tried their famous Chicken Panko sandwich ($10.80 + tax) - I'd rate it 3.5/5. It was good, but the Homemade Merguez sandwich ($10.80 + tax) was the real standout - 4.5/5!
I'll definitely be back & highly recommend giving this place a try. Their sandwiches are fresh, flavorful, & worth it!
Amazing location for fresh sandwiches! You have a few choices from the menu but all of them are delicious we opted for the pancko chicken & the merguez ones we had a feast. Prices ranges from 10$+ & parking is limited outside. Location can be very busy & staff are very welcoming!
I tried the chicken sandwich & the merguez one, & both were really good! Fresh food, with smooth & crispy bread that hit just right. The meat was cooked perfectly, & overall the taste was great. I'd rate the food an 8/10. Customer service was also good & respectful. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a solid halal sandwich spot!
