My family & I had had the tasting menu & it was great. We could tell the chefs cooked with passion & pride, & the service was more than exemplary.
Food-wise, the highlight was by far the short rib in our opinion: fall-off-the-bone tender, great flavor combinations, good variety of textures, appealing presentation. An absolute banger to wrap up the savory portion of the menu. That is not to say we didn't like the other courses-the mushroom pasta & the dessert were to die for!

Cool atmosphere with vibey music. Inventive dishes bringing Filipino traditions & flavours to a fine dining-esque presentation. Everything was rich & flavorful & service was charmingly vibrant. The beef short rib was rightly a signature dish - must have. Oliver & Ella were amazing, & kudos to chef Lorenzo for making us feel very welcomed.
We had such an incredible experience here! It's Filipino cuisine with a modern twist & the chef truly outdid himself. Every dish we tried (yes, we tried almost everything on the menu) was even better than the last. The flavors were bold & creative. The cocktails were just as impressive, perfectly crafted to match the food. Service was top notch the entire team was warm & attentive & our waitress was so sweet & made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot if you're looking for a memorable dining experience!
Brunch was amazing! It was my first time trying Junjun & it was definitely not the last time. Filipino cuisine is really underrated & they did an amazing job in combing the traditional flavors & dishes with a new/modern twist. We also talked to one of the owners & it was so interesting to hear about some dishes & story behind. Would definitely recommend & will come back to try their dinner ☺?
Coming from a metropolitan & diverse place like the Washington D.C. Metro, we have high standards for'modern takes on Filipino food.' JunJun's did not disappoint! We had personalized service from the owner himself who explained the background & preparation of each of our 5-course tasting menu. I had the cocktail with pandan flavor & my 20-something son had the deconstructed champorado for dessert. We ended the meal feeling full & satisfied. Must visit if you're in Montreal!
Tapas style sharing plates with plenty of flavor, good portions, refreshing tastes & a service to match the quality of the cuisine. Would absolutely recommend for a night out, prices are very fair considering the food menu! Menu changes seasonally, but we got the scallops crudo (10/10), the miso cabbage (10/10), the black garlic pasta (10/10), the shrimp pasta (10/10), & the pork belly bao buns (10/10). I had the pleasure of dining at their sister restaurant, Junior, & have been wanting to try Junjun for some time now. I must say, the experience was incredible & truly unforgettable! Junjun exceeded all my expectations. The service was exceptional, with friendly & attentive staff. Our waitress, Margarita, was fantastic, & Manager Ray was a wonderful host, bringing both humor & warmth to the evening. He enriched our experience by sharing the story behind Junjun & its journey, adding a unique & personal touch to our visit. As a Filipino growing up in a Filipino household & enjoying traditional Filipino dishes daily, I was truly amazed by how this restaurant has elevated & modernized the cuisine. Each dish on the tasting menu showcased unique & distinct flavors, & every plate was a visual masterpiece. I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit, especially for the unforgettable Octopus Kare Kare-it's a dish that has left a lasting impression. Maraming Salamat! Proud Filipino I highly recommend Junjun & will definitely be returning for another remarkable experience!
We had an epic dinner at Junjun that blew us away! Expectations were sky-high, & Junjun absolutely nailed it. The place was buzzing, but despite booking bar seats, we got hooked up with a table-major props for that. Ray, the manager, was a total rockstar, making sure everything was on point with his phenomenal service. Super friendly, always smiling, & he gave us remarkable menu & drink tips. Let's talk food-Scallops Crudo? Super tasty. That Cabbage? Spicy & packed with flavor! The Duck Adobo was a flavor bomb, & the Longanisa? Straight-up amazing. But the showstopper? The Octopus Kare-Kare. This dish is next-level, hands down the best octopus I've ever had. The vibes were on fire with great music, & the rest of the crew was just as awesome-friendly, attentive, & keeping the energy high. Junjun, you nailed it. Can't wait to come back! Highly recommend it!!
Had an incredible experience here! I've been to Junior (Junjun's sister restaurant) many times & was always impressed, so it was no surprise that Junjun was equally amazing. The food is refined, delicious, & clearly crafted with thoughtful flavors. The Filipino twist on the cocktails is so original as well, i loved them. The service was warm & attentive-Rey & his team took such great care of us for my friend's birthday. This spot is absolutely a must-visit in Montreal's food scene!

unforgettable experience! We opted for the 5 & 6-course tasting menu, & every dish's presentation was nothing short of art. The flavors were equally impressive, with each course offering a delightful mix that showcased the creativity of modern Filipino inspired fusion cuisine. From the unique twists on traditional dishes to the innovative flavor combinations, every bite was a new adventure. The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the overall experience & our waitress was incredibly kind & attentive. Highly recommend!
