Amazing place. The staff is incredibly kind & lovely, the food is delicious (I personally recommend the churros, they are freshly made & so yummy!) Great place to visit if you are a local or from outside of Montreal!!
Update: just tried their empanadas yesterday & they are sooo good. The two I tried were the pulled pork & pulled beef, both were equally delicious. MUST tries 😍😍😍
We were having a memorial service at home & I was looking for food to serve. I happened upon Juanitos, saw the 5-star rating, & the photos of the gorgeous multi-color empanadas, so I came in & was given amazing service by whom I assume was the very proud owner/operator. I reheated them at home after the guests had torn through the charcuterie board & the crackers & the grapes & I was a bit worried it would be a bit too much food. Not to worry. Everyone gobbled down the empanadas & they became the topic of conversation for 5 minutes. Loved the cornflour exterior even more than the fillings & those were incredible - shrimp, chorizo & goat cheese, chicken, pulled pork, vegetarian. I swear that multiple people vowed to order more soon. Will absolutely be back.

I tasted Heaven there! The empanadas are the best I have ever had & everything else I tried was crazily good. The owners are the nicest people ever, they are passionnates & they were their hearts on their sleeves. The place is super cute too & you can buy a lot of products! Juanitos is definitely a gem ❤?

We've been a few times now, no matter our hunger level-everything is comfortably filling if we're really hungry or just right if we're craving a snack. The cheese empanada is my personal favourite with the salsa verde on the side (& you have to try the garlic dipping sauce!). The crunch, quality & temperature of the empanada flavours is 10/10.
The workers are always so kind & friendly, & greet us with such friendly smiles. So happy for their team & always excited to go back! 🥹
EDIT: Le seul resto où je retourne tout le temps. En plus d'un service de qualité, la nourriture & leurs nouvelles additions au menu ne me déçoivent jamais ♥?

Super impressed with the empanadas. They are crunchy on the outside & soft on the inside. Lots of different flavours & all three that I had were delicious. Nice atmosphere & great service. Will go back for more!
C'était très bon! J'ai pris le bol péruvien & l'empanada au chorizo & au fromage de chèvre, & tout était frais & de bonne qualité. Par contre, les prix sont un peu plus élevés qu'ailleurs

Not only the service was fantastic. The food was also great. I walked over late not knowing the closing hours they let me in. They took my order & they made me a fantastic meal. I took the Mexican taco bowl & an empanada. They were both fantastic.
The best empanadas I ever tasted, the chicharrón sandwich it was so good the flavours, the sauce, the place is so welcoming & cozy the staff is super friendly, very nice place recommended 100%
absolutely delicious food.
if you want a recommendation get the beef or porc empanadas
also it is the only place that has grapefruit jarritos on the island of montreal
