We were having a memorial service at home & I was looking for food to serve. I happened upon Juanitos, saw the 5-star rating, & the photos of the gorgeous multi-color empanadas, so I came in & was given amazing service by whom I assume was the very proud owner/operator. I reheated them at home after the guests had torn through the charcuterie board & the crackers & the grapes & I was a bit worried it would be a bit too much food. Not to worry. Everyone gobbled down the empanadas & they became the topic of conversation for 5 minutes. Loved the cornflour exterior even more than the fillings & those were incredible - shrimp, chorizo & goat cheese, chicken, pulled pork, vegetarian. I swear that multiple people vowed to order more soon. Will absolutely be back.

A new favourite spot & recommendation to my friends that are looking for a great & friendly spot in the neighbourhood!

We've been a few times now, no matter our hunger level-everything is comfortably filling if we're really hungry or just right if we're craving a snack. The cheese empanada is my personal favourite with the salsa verde on the side (& you have to try the garlic dipping sauce!). The crunch, quality & temperature of the empanada flavours is 10/10.

The workers are always so kind & friendly, & greet us with such friendly smiles. So happy for their team & always excited to go back! 🥹

Delicious Colombian food. There is a huge variety of empanadas: chicken, chorizo, cheese, vegetarian... all delicious 🤤 The service was so kind & friendly, thank you Jose for your service.

The quality & excellence in service here are truly impressive. Jose & all the staff are kind, friendly, & empathetic, something you rarely find in Montreal. From the first moment, you feel cared for & welcomed.

The food is incredibly fresh.
Everything tastes amazing, but the cheese empanadas are my absolute favorite, crispy outside, soft & cheese.
If you're looking for great service, fresh food, & a warm vibe, this is definitely the place to go!

Tasty empanadas & great service - a cozy spot for a quick bite

The place is very cozy & welcoming, & the empanadas are truly delicious - the chicken, mushroom, & cheese one was our favorite! The owner is very kind & provides excellent service, making you feel right at home.

There are only a few tables available, so it might be a bit tricky if you're coming in a group of more than 4 people. It's better suited for smaller gatherings or a quick visit.

One thing to improve would be the air conditioning - it was quite hot during our summer visit, although we were told it was under repair at the time.

Still, it's a great spot to satisfy your cravings for empanadas & grab a cold Pony Malta. Definitely recommended!
