Loved Josephine! Would be perfect for date night. I went alone & sat at the bar on a Friday & it was pretty empty. The fish special was out of this world, & I loved the oysters & the mignonette hot sauce that came with it. You are paying $$$ for not a big portion, just note that. I walked out a little hungry but knew I wanted something lighter. & it is still worth it for the flavors. One of the best meals I have had in Montreal!View more

Came by myself on a sunny Wednesday around 6pm-place was pretty empty so I got seated & served right away. Drink landed in just a few minutes, & my half seafood platter ($55) was on the table within 15. I also had their tequila cocktail ($16), which was a solid pairing.
The oysters were fresh & really good, though I wish there was more than one sauce option-they only serve them with a homemade jalapeno mignonette, which isn't my favorite. But then came the shrimp... absolutely insane. Easily the best shrimp I've had in recent memory. The salmon gravlax was super fresh, & the tuna tataki was delicious too.
Yeah, it's a bit pricey, but honestly, the quality of the ingredients makes it worth it.View more

Les ✨ huîtres étaient délicieuses (surtout a -50% avant 19h!) & le ✨ menu découverte (59$ par personne) a été un coup de coeur absolu à chaque étape (courgette, ravioles au homard, terre & mer vivaneau & bavette, dessert financier trio d'orange & cheesecake)
Je le recommande chaudement, rarement testé un menu découverte aussi savoureux, complet, & qui reflète terriblement bien les forces & spécialités de la maison !

Pour mon anniversaire j'ai eu le plaisir de découvrir Joséphine sur le Plateau Mont?Royal & ça a été une expérience incroyable : 30 huîtres en entrée qui étaient ultra fraîches, on sent la passion derrière le bar à huîtres.
Ensuite, les pappardelles au confit de canard, champignons, ail noir & parmesan : un plat, riche & savoureux que j'ai fini jusqu'à la dernière miette. Enfin, le poisson du jour, grillé & posé sur une crème d'asperges, les saveurs étaient tellement bien équilibrées & le poisson cuit à merveille.
Pour finir en beauté, en surprise d'anniversaire, une petite mignardise : un cheesecake citron caramel pour une petite touche de douceur.
Ambiance cozy, service attentionné, cuisine créative & produits ultra frais : Joséphine se classe définitivement dans le top 3 de mes meilleures expériences gustatives & de loin.
