About

Jasmine Al Sham serves a comprehensive selection of traditional Lebanese cuisine with a focus on authentic charcoal-grilled meats and handcrafted sandwiches. The menu showcases marinated shish tawook, tender kafta skewers, and savory beef shawarma prepared with high-quality spices. Freshly baked flatbread acts as the foundation for vibrant wraps stuffed with crisp vegetables and rich garlic sauce. Beyond sandwiches, the kitchen specializes in essential mezze plates featuring creamy hummus and smoky baba ghanoush for a complete culinary profile. Every dish highlights the bold aromatics characteristic of Levantine food preparation techniques. These offerings provide a consistent experience for patrons seeking reliable staples from the region. The interior environment maintains a functional and streamlined aesthetic that keeps the focus entirely on the quality of ingredients.

Review Summary

Jasmine Al Sham is widely regarded as a premier destination for authentic Lebanese cuisine in Montreal, frequently praised for its fresh, flavorful shawarma and generous portions. Most visitors highlight the high quality of the food and the professional, welcoming demeanor of the staff, who often go above and beyond to accommodate dietary needs and special requests. While the majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive regarding the value and consistent taste of the dishes, a few instances of inconsistent service and concerns about rising prices have been noted. Overall, the establishment remains a popular choice for families and regular patrons who appreciate the delicious, high-quality meals and the friendly atmosphere provided by the team.

On the way to the airport to drop off my brother, we decided to stop by Jasmin Alsham Shawarma in Montreal, a spot highly recommended by a very close friend. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed. The restaurant is not only nice & clean, but it also has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel comfortable. The service was exceptional-friendly, attentive, & quick. It's clear that they care about their customers' experience. Now, onto the food! I tried both a falafel sandwich & a beef shawarma sandwich. The falafel was crispy on the outside & perfectly spiced, while the beef shawarma was tender, juicy, & full of rich flavors. Each bite was a delight. My brother opted for a mixed shawarma plate, which came with a generous portion of both chicken & beef shawarma, served with fresh salad, hummus, & pita bread. He couldn't stop raving about how flavorful & well-seasoned everything was. My cousin also went for the mixed shawarma plate & was equally impressed with the quality & taste of the food. Meanwhile, my dad decided to keep it light with a tabouleh salad & garlic potatoes. The tabouleh was fresh & zesty, just the way it should be, & the garlic potatoes were crispy & packed with flavor. Overall, our experience at Jasmin Alsham Shawarma was fantastic. The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, & the ambiance made for an enjoyable meal. We all left satisfied & eager to return. If you're in Montreal & looking for authentic, flavorful Middle Eastern cuisine, this place is a must-visit!

I am a regular at Jasmine & ordered the mix kg that consisted of chicken brochettes, Kafta, filet mignon, spicy pita, cabbage salad, potatoes, rice , pita, garlic & hummus. Was enough for the 3 of us plus leftovers. Easily feeds 4 people. Fresh, tasty & best bang for your buck! Thanks to my friend for suggesting it & picking it up on her way to my house. Best in West Lebanese food *****

Great food

I went there for the first time in few years, it was 40 min before closing time, I ordered 2 falafel sandwiches but wanted them in syrian bread. The guy preparing the food said it would be better in pita but can be done. He prepared everything & when it was time to pay i paid $35 incl tax. It appears he split each sandwich & charged me 2x (each original sandwich was huge) but again I just ordered just 2 sandwiches not 4. Now regarding the food itself, the falafel were cold & crumbly which means it has been sitting there for a while & the potatoes had a weird aftertaste. Probably because I was there 40 min before closure. The guy preparing the food was very polite, but won't go there again as I feel scammed to be charged 2x what I ordered just because I wanted a different bread or the least he could've done was to tell me beforehand but most probably he wanted to get rid of the falafel because it wasnt gonna sell.
